ipsy April 2015 Subscription Review - "Beautifully Bohemian"
ipsy April 2015 Subscription – “Beautifully Bohemian”

ipsy is $10/month and sends its members a beautiful Glam Bag with 4-6 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products. Their bags always have an incredible value (well over the $10 cost) and I am always amazed at how they do it.

The Bag

ipsy ships via DHL Global Mail.  It starts out with DHL and is delivered by USPS.  Bags typically ship around the 10th, but mine always seems to ship a bit later than that (this month it shipped on the 14th).  Once it shipped it took just three days to arrive this month!

The Information Card

The April 2015 ipsy theme was “Beautifully Bohemian” and I received the following items:

~Hey Honey Good Morning – Honey Silk Facial Serum ($13.67): When ipsy released their sneak peeks for April this was one of the items I was hoping to get.  It’s a serum to be used in the morning under your makeup / facial cream and makes your skin “smooth and glossy”.  I am not sure I saw that, but it made my skin feel softer for sure.

~Hikari Cosmetics Blush (Tango) ($15): Wow, I totally wasn’t expecting this one to be full-sized!  I also wasn’t expecting it to be so bright!  Tango is described as a matte pink coral and while I liked the formula of the blush, it’s a bit (a lot) much for me.  I’ll likely end up passing it along to a friend.
~theBalm Cosmetics NUDE Dude Eyeshadow Single (~$3) Fit:  Fit is a gorgeous “shimmering copper”. I don’t necessarily need any new shadows, but everything about this is just so fun.  The packaging is adorable, the name is cute and the shadow itself is pretty great too.

~Starlooks Satin Finish Lip Gloss (Cuddle) (~$4): I’m not super excited or super not excited by this.  It’s just kind of there.  I think it’s because Starlooks has been in ipsy a few times already?  Anyway, the gloss itself is nice and I will use it.

~Jor’el Parker Femina ($9.68): Femina is a Harvery Prince fragrance and which is awesome since I love HP. It’s a citrusy scent and has notes of Meyer Lemon, White Grapefruit, Satsuma Mandarin, Summer Forsythia, Pink Plumeria, Wild Verbena, Tahitian Vanilla, Sensual Musk. It’s very summery and perfect for today’s weather here (it’s 70 and just gorgeous).

~The Bag: This may just be one of my favorite ipsy bags ever.  It’s super beachy and will be awesome in a straw beach bag this summer.

The ipsy Bag

All totaled I came up with a value of $45.35 for the April 2015 ipsy Glam Bag. I estimated a few of the items though so I may be off a little in either direction.  All in all I am happy with this bag.  It’s always a great value for the price and I always find one or two products from it that I love.
