Lip Monthly is an affordable monthly subscription for all LIP LOVERS. For only $10/month, Lip Monthly allows you to discover the best products for your lips, and fall in love with them.
Lip Monthly ships via USPS within the first 10 days of the month. Just like last month, I am not totally sure if this did ship by the 10th, but if it did it took a while to get here.
Lip Monthly packages their monthly shipments in a Lip Monthly branded pouch. They don’t send a new style every month, but I am hopeful that will happen eventually.
The April 2015 Lip Monthly included the following:
~Cargo Lip Gloss (Anguilla) ($16): According to the information card this is a travel size that same the same amount of product as the regular size? The tag on the bottom of this says it’s 4.5 mL / 4.5 g while the full-sized one says it’s 2.5mL. I totally don’t get it. But I do love the gloss. Cargo makes a great one and this color is awesome.
~City Color Be Matte Lipstick (Cammi) ($4.99): Wow. This color is quite bright! Way bright. I knew it’d be too bright for my sister-in-law (she gets all my lipsticks) so I tried it on and it was just too much. I am sure there are plenty of people who could pull this off, I am just not one of them.
~L.A. Girl Lipstick (Last Night) ($4): Well I thought that last color was bright, but wow, this one is BRIGHT. It’s more than hot pink. It’s neon pink! Again, it’s way too much for me, but someone can rock it I’m sure.
~OFRA Eyebrow Pencil (Universal) ($13): I don’t often use an eyebrow pencil, but it’s nice to have one on hand for emergencies. OFRA is a great brand too and this pencil alone costs more than the Lip Monthly bag.
All totaled I came up with a value of $37.99 for the April 2015 Lip Monthly box. The box was worth the $10, but I think I would have liked it more had some of the shades worked better for me.
