Baxter and Buddy were all over this box!  I couldn’t smell anything dog related when I opened it, but they could.  They totally could!

The Information Card

The April 2015 PetGiftBox theme was Earth Day related and included the following items:

~PetLou Naturally Twisted Critters ($8.07): WB and Buddy had the best time playing with this yesterday. You can’t totally see it, but the tail is a rope so they were having a big tug of war match around the house.

~Pet Greens Jerky Style Treats ($8.99): These treats are grain-free and are made with 90% real meat and organic wheat grass.  I think jerky treats are the dogs favorites!

~K9Granola Granola Factory Oven Fresh Quacks Blueberry and Vanilla ($8.49): The dogs like these much more than I expected them too. They are described as “easy to chew” so that’s probably why. The dogs don’t get that they are duck shapes, but I think it’s cute.

~Bubba Rose Biscuit Company Earth Day Cookie ($3.99): I need to keep this cookie away from WB and L because I know they would totally try to eat it!  It’s made in the USA with all organic ingredients in celebration of Earth Day!

All totaled I came up with a value of $39.49 for the April 2015 PetGiftBox.  I loved the theme and I love the value on this box!  The value is over double the price which is amazing!

Your comment about keeping the cookie away from your boys reminds me of a story. When I was in grad school, I was known for bringing cookies in to the lab. So if there were baked goods in a container on my desk, people would take them. (This was OK, that’s why I brought them in. Otherwise I would have eaten them all.)

One day, the secretary asked me if I’d like some of her homemade dog biscuits. (She brewed her own beer and made the biscuits out of leftover barley or something.) I said sure, so she left some on my desk. In a container. I think you can probably see where this is going…

At any rate, I burst out laughing when our undergrad told me the cookies were terrible and not to make that kind again.

In all seriousness, this looks like a pretty good box. My dog is currently doing a food trial due to an allergy, although she has had those same jerky treats in the past and liked them. I wonder what the cat version is like?

OMG that is hysterical!!! We once had dog treats in the basement (near our dogs crates) that looked like sandwich cookies. They were sandwich cookies, but for dogs. My son’s friend did NOT believe that they were for dogs when my son told him and decided to try them…….

My dog loves getting her box in the mail. She got a really cute turtle instead of the dog toy. I have been really happy with my subscription with them.
