PowerUp Box is a monthly subscription service that includes geeky, gamer, and pop culture gear. The PowerUp Box team goes around the country searching for the best gear there is to assure an epic box every month, every time. The Premium Box ($39.90/month) includes 6-9 items, while the Deluxe Box ($26.90/month) includes 4-6 items and both boxes will include a t-shirt every month.
PowerUp Boxes are shipped between the 22nd and 28th of each month. I received mine a bit earlier than that for review purposes.
As soon as I opened this box up I knew it was a win. I loved it already! Here is what was included in my Premium April 2015 PowerUp Box:
~Batman PoP! T-Shirt (~$20): I couldn’t find this exact t-shirt online, but I found some similar PoP! ones and they were right around $20/each. I.love.this.shirt. I got it in B’s size and I know the little boys are going to be so jealous. It’s a super soft cotton and I love the Batman print on the front.
~Fabrikations Batman ($15.11): L and I couldn’t get this out of the box fast enough. He loves it and put it in his Superhero room right away. And every time WB sees it in there he tries to steal it.
~Marvel Vinyl Bobblehead Blind Box ($6.99): I am a complete sucker for a blind box. I love them! We received Thor which again will go in L’s Superhero room.
~PoP! Pocket Keychain – Raphael ($7.14): L has been super into “decorating” or jazzing up his backpack lately and this will be a good addition. All the kids have charms and keychains and what not on their backpacks just like this. I have no idea why you need to be 14+ to have this (?), but I am sure L will be just fine with it.
~Batman Arkham Night Comic Book ($3.99): I guess this comic book is a related to the new Batman Arkham video game that is being released in June. L isn’t super into comic books right now, but it’s only matter a time so I will just put this away for a few months.
~Spiderman Lollipop Rings ($2): Spiderman rings pops? Uhh, yes please! The boys tried to get me to open these yesterday, but I thought we’d save them for more of an special treat when we are out running errands or doing something they aren’t huge fans of (like grocery shopping)!
~PowerUp Box Swag: The box also included a PowerUp branded drawstring bag, a lanyard and a button. These drawstring bags are awesome for putting shoes / boots in and then putting in backpacks and also for swimming class.
All totaled I came up with a value of $55.23 for the April 2015 PowerUp box! We totaled loved this box. It was a great value and a perfect theme for L. This might be an awesome box to get him for his birthday!

That’s a cool box! I got a similar shirt at Target for $3.88 last week. It was in the men’s section- they get the cooler shirts.. the women’s graphic shirts are usually lame or baggy crop tops which are even lamer! And they’re never on clearance. I thought the Thor toy was a Jason Mewes (Jay of Jay & Silent Bob fame) in the first picture.
The POP keychain is most likely labeled for 14+ because it does not meet the federal regulations for lead content in children’s products – the government defines children’s products as up to 12 years. POP is labeling around the requirement which is pretty shady.
My boys would had loved this box. Do they give hints or spoilers?
Was this the March or April box? They said their April box doesn’t ship until the 21st of this month.
This was April. I got it early because it was a review box.
