The Box of Style is a new seasonal subscription box by Rachel Zoe. It promises to include $300 favorite fashion, beauty and lifestyle items hand-curated by Rachel and The Zoe Report Team. The Spring 2015 box was their first ever box and went on sale last month.
The Box of Style ships via UPS from California. My box took under a week to arrive to me.
Instead the plain brown box was the actual Rachel Zoe Box of Style. The box was quite sturdy and reminded me a lot of the Special Edition POPSUGAR boxes.
Everything was individually wrapped and just felt very well put together. It was even more impressive in person than it looks in the pictures.
The Spring 2015 Box of Style information booklet features not only product information, but also Styling Ideas for each of the items and coupon codes for each of the brands featured. Rachel Zoe included the following Spring obsessions:
~Miansai Modern Screw Cuff ($200): This was billed as the “Hero Item” (aka the big ticket item) for the Spring Box and was revealed in advance. It’s a gorgeous bracelet (very high quality), but it’s SO small. I could probably get it on, but it wouldn’t look as sleek on my wrists as it does on people with tint wrists. To give you an idea of how small it is, I had L try it on. He’s 6 and is pretty average sized. That’s a tiny cuff right there ;). I will likely either trade this or gift it to a friend with small wrists who would appreciate this piece.
~Zoya Nail Polish in Zoe, Chantal and Haley ($30): I am a nail polish addict so I love this set. I also love the ideas that are included in the information card. One of the suggestions is to do a coat of Zoe (a custom color for Zoe’s Fall 2015 Fashion Week presentation) over a coat of Chantal for a chic opalescent-nude color. I love that idea and plan to try it first!
~Traveler by TOMS Sunglasses ($68): These sunglasses are fantastic. The shape is amazing (almost a cat-eye but not exactly) and they are oversized without being crazy big (although I wouldn’t mind that either). I love these and I love the floral sunglass case that came along with them.
~tarte lights, camera, lashes 4-in-1 mascara ($20): I first tried this after it arrived in the Summer 2014 Allure Beauty Box and I loved it! It’s a fabulous mascara and I find that it lengthens well and doesn’t clump when you apply it.
~Bristols Six Stylin’ Tape ($10): This can be used for clothing and also jewelry if you need to keep something in place. This is something you don’t realize you need until it’s too late so it’s nice to have on hand.
All totaled I came up with a value of $328 for the Spring 2015 Rachel Zoe Box of Style and I have to tell you, I am impressed! This is a fantastic box and I love it. Everything was very high quality and the presentation was amazing. I think they knocked this first box out of the park!
What do you think of the Spring 2015 Rachel Zoe Box of Style? This box is now sold out, but the Summer 2015 Box of Style goes on sale TOMORROW (4.9.15) at 12pm PDT so set an alarm if you want it because it’s probably going to go fast. They will also be releasing details on the Summer “Hero Item” at that time which I am so anxious to see. I don’t have any specific hopes for it, but I wouldn’t be surprised to find a fun hat in there!
This is an impressive box. I passed on it because I wasn’t sure if the bracelet will fit. I can’t wait to see what is in the summer box.
A great box I love the sunglasses and mascara. It’s too bad the big ticket item was too small.

Oh my gosh, I just opened my box and the bracelet wouldn’t fit my 14yo niece! I’m so disappointed, but I’m in crisis resolution mode right now. I’ll let you know how it goes…lol
LOL. Let me know! I called my 6 year-old in my office when I was opening it up and was like try this on. He thought I was nuts. I didn’t realize my wrists were SO oversized.
I’m sooooo disappointed the bracelet is so ridiculously small. You’d think Rachel would realize we are all not the stickpin skinny models she works with every day. We’re real normal sized girls buying your sub box!

First I’m a huge Rachel Zoe fan so there was no question I was going to get this box. I love the way she styles people so I was hoping that her box would reflect that. One of my daily wear jewelry items is the Rachel Zoe ring that came in one of the special boxes a year or so ago (was it Popsugar Resort? Probably my favorite box item ever).
And I love this box (more on the bracelet later). I think it’s well curated, really says “Rachel Zoe” to me. I love that she went further with the information card than just “this is what’s included”. It was extremely well packed (would make an awesome gift).
Loved everything. I think the bracelet is cutting edge. I will wear the glasses and the case for it is perfect for the spring/summer. I have a feeling that the two coat nail polish will be my go to color combo for the season (and the red will work at some point too.) I have desperately needed tape at one time or another and have had to go without so it gives me peace of mind that that’s in my “tool box” for fashion. And though I’ve received a ton of mascara in boxes, I’m always looking for a favorite so I’m glad to try this one out. And the case for the mascara screams me LOL.
But. I don’t have large wrists at all, and this bracelet did NOT fit. I was completely bummed. And I’d love to give it as a nice gift to someone but honestly, I’m not sure their wrists would be small enough either and it’s too expensive a gift to give without knowing that it would fit! So it goes for sale. Problem is I think a TON of folks will be trying to sell theirs because of the fit so I doubt I’ll get a good price for it. Bummed.
But otherwise, I think this box hit it out of the ball park too (and much better than say Nina Garcias which I was ultimately unimpressed with. I hope Rached keeps it up!). I just hope they realize the fit problem and correct future boxes.
I haven’t checked eBay, but I wonder what they are selling for? I honestly didn’t realize my wrists were SO large. I was like if I get this thing on I will never get it off. It’s SO small.
I got my box today!! I am obsessed with everything in it. But im most excited that she even included coupon codes on the card, i really would love to get a matching miansai ring. This box really made me feel special. I love it! Cant wait to remove my polish and try those two polishes together. Counting down the last hour before the big reveal at 3
I just ordered the summer box! But a question about delivery. Was the final delivery by USPS or UPS? My apartment complex has trouble with UPS deliveries so I may need to have my box sent to someone else’s place!
With the exception of the extra-small bracelet, this box looks amazing! I hadn’t heard about this box until your post, and I have to admit I ran over to ebay to snag the sunglasses.
I had managed to whittle my boxes down to just Pop Sugar, but now this one is in the mix as well. I think if it adds a bit of seasonal style and is worth well over the price paid, it’s worth it, right? 😉
