Today I’m Smiling Because…
~Bruce Jenner! Last night’s interview was very enlightening and I am glad he got to share his story. Hopefully the paparazzi lay off him now.
~I caught a glimpse of the Talent Show yesterday when I was at L’s school for PTO stuff and it was so fun to see all those kids up there performing! And even better to see the crazy cheers they all got from the other students in the audience.
~L got a great Progress Report yesterday! I am amazed by all that he has learned this year. And the mohawk he was running around the house with this week when B was cutting his hair made me smile too!
~The new Starbucks by my house has opened! I kid you not they built that thing in like 3 weeks. Amazing.
~My boys are going to see Thomas the Train tomorrow! WB is more excited about this than L, but I think L is secretly into it too. CHOO-CHOO!
~The Lilly + Target returns are in full force and I have picked up some great stuff as a result. I still have my eyes open for some Nosie Posey pillows, but I hope I can snag at least one!
~Of WB (who I should really just start calling W since he’s not a baby anymore). If you can hang out with him for 10 minutes, heck 5 minutes and he doesn’t make you smile, I’d be surprised. This kid is a trip.

Yay for Thomas. We did the day out with Thomas a couple years ago and both boys liked it. I think N would still be ok with it even if he didn’t want to admit it 😉 Since you know he is doing it for his brother. LOL
You must have the best Target. I’ve been stalking Targets nearby and I really really want that clutch and wanted the juicer but no go! I guess I should just be happy I miraculously found the mugs earlier this week.
I have been doing stock checks and saw that the mugs were in stock on the other side of town and then stumbled into a bunch of returns!
Lucky! I keep checking stock online for a few items I want. And I went to 4 stores yesterday stalking returns but no great finds.
all we’re doing day out with Thomas next Saturday I think the railroad breakfast is tomorrow if it is be careful and prepared to pack your patience oMG I’ll never do that again all those people make it a whole day event. I went to my target and saw nothing for Lily nothing at all not even attempt to display I asked someone and she was like looked at me like I was from a different planet. I did find the pineapple sandals online though they have been almost every size now

I knew there were going to be a bunch of Lilly returns! I bet there get to be more and more over the next several weeks. It’s still early.

Sadly I think the paparazzi will be even worse trying to get a pic of Bruce in women’s clothing, makeup etc.. I was glad to see his older children with him and how accepting they are.. I am curious as to what he will be changing his name to…

I just got to watch the whole interview uninterrupted. I was so very moved by Bruce Jenner’s interview and interaction with Diane. I cried a few times during it and just felt so emotional watching him, especially when he would get choked up. He looks so very happy now; when I watched him on KUWTK he always looked so sad and lost and there seems to be such a light in his eyes not. Beauty should not be just someone’s gender, religion, race, or sexuality based, but based on someone’s soul and their character. She is beautiful and hopefully she will be able to help other people and really make a difference with people. She said that she feels that God’s plan for her in this life was to be able to make a difference with coming out. His (her) children should be so proud of him (her). I saw someone make a comment on a picture of his about not calling him “brave” because the term brave should only be assigned to soldiers protecting our country, but I think he is brave in so many ways! My husband, who gets so freaked out about stuff like that, was also very moved, that’s how strong this interview with him made us feel.
