ipsy May 2015 Subscription Review - "Jet Setter"
ipsy May 2015 Subscription – “Jet Setter”

ipsy is $10/month and sends its members a beautiful Glam Bag with 4-6 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products. Their bags always have an incredible value (well over the $10 cost) and I am always amazed at how they do it.

The Package

ipsy ships via DHL Global Mail.  It starts out with DHL and is delivered by USPS.  Bags typically ship around the 10th and take under a week to arrive.

First Look

This actually wasn’t even the full first look.  I ordered some of the ipsy points items this month and I actually thought that one of the items from the May bag was one of those.

The May 2015 ipsy Glam Bag theme was “Jet Setter” and included the following items:

~Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Lip Pencil + BONUS Revolution High-Color Lipgloss ($15): I would take a picture of this lip pencil, but it goes on clear so there is no point.  This helps your color stay on and stay put for a long time.  I liked that it included two little bonus samples too so you can test it all out together.

~BelláPierre Cosmetics Waterproof Mineral Gel Eyeliner Pencil (Ebony) ($14.99): I think ipsy sends me more eyeliner than any other subscription I receive.  And I know that other people who love eyeliner don’t get it half as often.  LOL!  It’s a nice liner, but I already have a bunch I don’t use so I will pass this one on or trade it.

~Peter Lamas Detoxifying Citrus C Facial Cleanser ($6): I really like receiving cleansers in boxes.  I haven’t noticed any difference in how my skin looks but it made my skin feel clean and nice.

~Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Shampoo Spray ($25): Wow.  I was totally expecting this to be travel sized, but it SO was not.  It’s full sized and I am in shock.  I love this stuff and cannot believe the huge full-sized was in my $10 ipsy.  Amazing.

~Luxie Beauty Tapered Blending Eye Brush 205 ($12): This is about the max price I like to spend on a brush of this nature.  I just lose them too quickly.

~The Bag: This *might* be my favorite ipsy bag ever!  It’s the first (I think) cloth/canvas bag I have received from them and it’s just so cute.

The Bag

All totaled I came up with a value of $72.99 for my May 2015 ipsy bag. I think ipsy killed it this month.  I am still amazed I received that giant dry shampoo!  This bag far exceeded my expectations with that this month.
