Mission Cute May 2015 Subscription Box

MissionCute, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box full of cute stuff, but with a mission. Each MissionCute box comes with at least 2 items made by small-but-mighty artisans and local businesses and each month they partner with a different nonprofit to help promote their mission.  50% of the net proceeds of each box are donated to the chosen (you can vote on it) monthly nonprofit (this month’s partner is LOT 2545) and MissionCute also sponsors and works on a service project each month in their community.

The Box

MissionCute ships via USPS and took just a few days to arrive to me.  Boxes ship on the 15th of the month. If you subscribe before the 10th of the month you will receive that month’s box.  If you subscribe after the 10th of the month, your subscription will start the following month.

The Information Card

The April 2015 MissionCute partner is “Lot 2545” and like I previously mentioned 50% this month’s proceeds will be donated to them.  Lot 2545 is an organization in Uganda who works to keep boys off the streets.

~Mint Tassel Leather Keychain ($14): Love it!  I had a similar one and it broke so I am happy to see this one.  It’ll be on my keychain immediately.

~Watercolor Sunbeams Print ($9): I love this quote!  I just switched up my quote frame but I might switch it right away again so I can put this in there.

~Orchid Spring Geometric Chevron Scarf ($15): How cute is this? It’s unlike any scarf I have ever received and I love it.  The colors are fun and bright and it’s lightweight for summer.

~Handmade Woven Friendship Bracelet Watch ($14): I have to admit, I am getting into watches more and more lately. This isn’t my favorite style, but I’ll wear it!

All totaled I came up with a value of $74 for the April 2015 MissionCute box.  I don’t know that it was my favorite MissionCute box, but I did like it and thought it fit their mission of sending a box of cute things.

I LOVE that watch! This is such a cute box, I keep thinking about trying it out. But I think I need to de-clutter the house before I buy more subs…
