POPSUGAR Must Have Box May 2015 Subscription Box Review
POPSUGAR Must Have Box May 2015 Subscription Box

My May 2015 POPSUGAR Must Have Box is here!  My mailman had a lot of good packages for me today, but I went for this one first.

If you aren’t familiar with them, POPSUGAR Must Have Box is an exciting monthly box full of fun, must-have picks across fashion, beauty, home decor, fitness, and more, which is delivered to your door on a monthly basis. Boxes include full-size products and premium items including tried-and-true classics, celebrity favorites, and brands consumers have yet to discover worth over $100!

The Box

POPSUGAR Must Have Box ships via FedEx Smart Post and took under a week to arrive. I think SmartPost changed up their routes recently because this box didn’t have as many stops as normal.

As usual I peeked at spoilers for this box so I knew what was going to be inside.  I don’t know if I have ever been (or will be) spoiler free for POPSUGAR.

The Information Card

The May 2015 POPSUGAR Must Have Box was inspired by “Glowing Skin, Mother’s Day, Fresh Flowers, Beach Bum, Colorful, California Sun” and included the following items:

~Sisters of Los Angeles Surf Sand Love Beach Towel ($40): I spread this out to take a picture and WB tested it right out for me.  The beach towel is super cute and we’ll get a ton of use out of it.

~Middle Kingdom Mini Plum Vase in Coral Red ($20): At first I wasn’t sure about this, but I think I like it.  I don’t know that I have ever gotten a vase in a subscription box, so that’s fun.  Plus it will give me an excuse to buy flowers at the grocery store when I am there.

~Kitsch Tri’d & True Y-Shaped Necklace ($32): Love this!  It’s delicate, but still very eye catching.  And I like that it can be worn pretty much anywhere.

~Batiste Dry Shampoo ($4): Not overly exciting, but I do love dry shampoo.  This stuff smells good works well.  I will stick it in my travel bag.

~Sage & Row Bare Shave Cream ($17): Am I the only one who doesn’t use shaving cream?  I never do!  But since this is included I will use it.

~Hammond’s Candies McCraw’s Flat Taffy ($1):  I am not totally sure what flavor this is, but I don’t know that it matters.  I can never taste the difference in Taffy flavors anyway.

All totaled I came up with a value of $114 for the May 2015 POPSUGAR Must Have Box.  I liked this box well enough and feel like I got my money’s worth, but it certainly wasn’t my favorite POPSUGAR box to date.

What do you think of the May box?  If you sign up now you can begin your subscription with the June 2015 POPSUGAR Must Have Box  (which is inspired by “Yoga-Warrior, Sun-Kissed, Outdoor Fun and Coconut”)! New subscribers can use coupon code “WELCOME” to get a free Sorial Wallet on a Chain (from the November 2014 POPSUGAR Must Have Box) or “MUSTHAVE5” to save $5 off their first box.  If you check the “Waitlist” button, you’ll get a May 2015 box (i.e. this one) if they happen to have any left.  If you don’t check it, your subscription will begin in June!
