First Look

The card I had on my BOXYCHARM account actually expired last month and I didn’t realize it until, basically, I just didn’t get a box this month.  But I liked the looks of this box so I made sure to resubscribe.

The Information Card

The June 2015 BOXYCHARM theme was “Sea La Vie” and included the following items:

~Eslor’s Chlorophyll Lifting Mask ($38 $21): I have used this mask before and really liked it which is one of the main reasons I wanted this box.  It firms up your skin and leaves it brighter and cleaner.  I also get a kick out of the fact that it’s neon green.  ETA: The information card indicated that this was a full size, but that is not the case. The mask is actually a 15mL sample size as opposed to a 50mL full-size jar.

~Bella Pierre Kabuki Brush ($29.99): This little brush is soft and works perfect for applying loose powder.  I’m curious though, how does everyone store these little brushes?  They don’t fit in the brush cup that I have?

~Oscar Blandi Hair Care Daily Silk Serum ($25): Love this stuff.  It helps to reduce frizz, smooths hair and makes it shiny too.  I can’t find this on the Oscar Blandi website so I am not sure if it’s a new item or an older item or exactly where it’s from.  I like it though!

~The Beauty Crop Lighting Crew Highlighting Cream ($18): At first I thought this was a lip balm, but it turns out it’s a highlighting cream.  Either way I love it.  The packaging is adorable and the cream itself is fantastic.  I thought a little bit went a long way and loved the shimmer it added.

~ncLA Nail Lacquer (Volume IV) ($16): This is probably the only item I am not super excited about.  I am not huge into nude polishes so this could end up on the trade list.

All totaled the June 2015 BOXYCHARM has a value of $126.99 $109.99 (adjusted due to the size of the mask).  BOXYCHARM always has such an incredible value and I think it’s a fantastic box!  I like some months more than others, but I don’t believe they have ever completely disappointed me.

I really liked this box. I received the click click lipstick in place of the Oscar Blandi. Its really fun to click, and a pretty nude pink. I actually keep this brush and I have one other similar that doesnt fit in my bag out on a vanity shelf.

The Eslor product is not full sized. The card is wrong, thus the value is not $38. The size we received contains 15 ml. The full sized jar contains 50 ml. Quite a difference. Boxycharm posted on their Facebook that this size is worth $21. It is not shown on the Eslor website in this size..so I’m not sure if that’s accurate or not.

Thank you for the heads up! That’s what I get for not checking the sizes!!!

Ohhh, I am so glad I didn’t get the lipstick! You probably could have guessed that though!

I went round and round with myself about ordering this box, but I just did it! So I finally received it today and to my surprise (AGAIN -same with NBTT) I received all 5 featured products! Obviously the eslor and the Bellapierre but also the Oscar Blandi hair serum, doucce click click in 815 (it’s a pretty coral) and the Cargo eyeshadow in Provence (a shimmery purple). …..I am very surprised I didn’t see anyone else with boxes like this, I was actually really wanting that highlighter and nail polish, I LOVE nude nail shades and am not huge on hair products! But it’s still a great box!
