GLOSSYBOX kindly sent me their June 2015 box to review early and I am so excited to share it! GLOSSYBOX is a monthly beauty subscription box and includes five luxury surprise beauty items shipped to your door. I have been a subscriber for years (in addition to getting review boxes I also pay for a subscription) and am always in awe at the value they pack into their boxes.
GLOSSYBOX ships via USPS and generally boxes ship in the second half of the month (as I mentioned I received this one early for review purposes). Sometimes it’s the last week of the month and sometimes it’s closer to the 20th of the month.
GLOSSYBOX does a lot of great collaborations, but this month was just a regular GLOSSYBOX, I feel like we are due for a collaboration or special GLOSSYBOX, so maybe next month?
I opened up this box over the weekend and was completely unspoiled for it! I will admit it’s kind of fun to go unspoiled sometimes.
My June 2015 GLOSSYBOX included the following items:
~The Aloe Source Vitamin C Antioxidant Creme ($10): This cream works to hydrate dry skin and the aloe vera provides soothing and calming benefits. I think I am going to save this for this summer after a long day outdoors.
~Orly Nail Lacquer (Oh Cabana Boy) ($3.99): I love this polish. Love it. The card says that colors may vary, but this neon pink is perfect for me. I JUST did my nails over the weekend but I may be taking the polish off today to put this on. It’s fabulous.
~Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara ($14.48): I don’t know if I loved this mascara right off the bat, but it’s become one of my favorites. It gives you great volume, doesn’t clump and doesn’t get all messed up if you apply more than one coat.
~Etre Belle Cosmetics Aloe Vera Ultra Moisturizing Gel ($24.95): I had to check the size of this twice, but this actually is the full size! It promises a “glowing supple complexion” and also replenishes the skin’s moisture content and improves elasticity. This is another one I am going to save for a little deeper into summer when my skin needs it most.
~City Cosmetics City Lips (Plum Springs) ($35): This is designed to plum your lips while giving you great color and shine. I got a great shade and could actually even see a little plumping action. It is supposed to help stimulate lasting natural collagen production with continued use as well, but I haven’t been using it long enough for that.
All totaled I came up with a value of $88.42 for the GLOSSYBOX box! As usual it was a great value for a $21/box! GLOSSYBOX always sends a great box packed with high-quality items and this month was no different.
