Mommy Mailbox July 2015 Subscription Box

Mommy Mailbox subscription boxes are carefully curated to make all mom’s lives better, easier and sweeter. Boxes contain products which typically retail for between $55-$75 and each box contains 4-6 surprise gifts that change each month.

The Box

Mommy Mailbox ships via USPS during the first week of the month (or the last few days of the previous month like this one). I actually first subscribed to this box back in March and absolutely loved it, but without realizing it I bought only one month – not a subscription. And then they were sold out for a while and/or I forgot to subscribe when they opened up sign-ups, but I am now signed up for a monthly subscription.

I had been so excited about receiving this box that I went on a hunt for spoilers over the weekend. So basically I knew what to expect, but it made me even more excited to get my hands on this box.

The Information Card

The July 2015 Mommy Mailbox theme was “Unwind” and was curated by Tana Hallows of Mom’s Best Network. The box contained the following items:

~S.W. Basics Organics Exfoliant ($24): LOVE!  I am a huge fan of the S.W. Basics line (formerly known as Sprout) and have purchased them on my own many times.  I know some Target stores carry the line, but sadly my store(s) do not. The exfoliant is made from three ingredients (organic oat flour, organic almond flour and sea salt) and can be mixed with water, honey, yogurt, etc.  I have only mixed it with water in the past, but I am going to try some of the other items this time.

~Chef’n Flexicado Avocado Slicer ($6.99):  We have one of these from a previous subscription box and it’s awesome.  At first I wasn’t sure it was a necessary kitchen tool, but it is.  It makes your avocados look perfect and fancies up the presentation of you meals.

~Ips Protein Chips (~$2): These are really good.  You wouldn’t think egg white chips would be tasty (well I didn’t anyway), but they are. They have good crunch and aren’t overly salty which I really like.

~Sending You Good Vibes and Positive Thoughts Card by Happy Cactus Design ($4.50): This card is so pretty. I am not sure who I will send it to, but it will come in handy when I need it.

~Longest Thread Reef Turkish Towel (Sky Blue) ($26): I love this!  I love turkish towels and this one is fabulous. It’s nice and big (71” x 35′) and can be used as either a blanket, towel or wrap.  Or even as a table covering.  These are awesome in the summer because they are thinner and won’t take up a ton of space in your beach bag.

All totaled I came up with a value of $63.49 for the July 2015 Mommy Mailbox. I loved this box. I absolutely loved it. Everything in it felt like it was perfectly selected for me and I am just completely impressed with the entire box!
