Today I’m Smiling Because…
~We had a great week with the up-north cousins! My boys had a ball and we’re all going to miss them (until we see them again next weekend anyway). I am also smiling because my cousin LOVED her cooking class down here. So glad she had fun.
~My mom watched my boys yesterday which meant I could do some outlet mall / Goodwill shopping after dropping my cousins off. I found some Lilly for Target at Goodwill (it was 50% off there) and a few other goodies including an orla kiely yoga towel for about 80% off retail. Goodwill is the best!
~Of yesterday’s ruling that allows same-sex couples to legally marry in all states. It was very cool to see all the reactions and watch history be made.
~I think we found our new Tuesday night tradition! A local restaurant has Kid’s Night and has free face painting, balloon art, giveaways and Olaf is there. Oh and did I mention that kids meals are 50% off on Tuesdays. Awesome. It was so fun much and we can’t wait to take B to see what he thinks of it.
~We are supposed to have a chilly, rainy weekend and I am looking forward to just curling up on the couch with my boys!
~My car is clean and the laundry is done, folded and put away. Those two knocked off the chore list totally make me smile!

I’m smiling that N only has 2 more days left of 1st grade 🙂 and I get to go scrapping with my girlies this evening. Oh and lets not forget that Magic Mike XXL comes out next week LOL that is always worth smiling for. 😉

Your Goodwill’s are totally different than ours in Chicago – ours definitely do not get Target stuff!
I wonder where the Target salvage in Chicago goes? Hmm. I have heard there are “boutique” Goodwills so maybe there is one of those around that it’s being sent too?? You should ask at your Target. I don’t think it’s a secret??
