1. With summer break coming, I want to hear what you do about bedtimes? WB doesn’t nap anymore, so if he stays up past about 8 more than a few nights in a row, well, he’s not too happy. So his bedtime will stay just about the same. But L I’m not so sure. Maybe when it gets dark out which is basically when he’ll be done playing outside?
2. What’s your favorite guilty pleasure tv show? I thought mine was Teen Mom, but after getting cable I am way too hooked on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Everyone is always so perfectly made up and dressed like they just walked off the runway. Where are they really going? Who lives with who? I don’t really know but I am going to watch to find out!
I love Breaking Amish (and all the companion shows that followed), Little Women LA, and Dance Moms!
1) My girls are far older than your boys, but my husband and I still need time at night to watch our shows or play a video game together or whatever. We try to get the girls to bed around the same time in the summer, or at least upstairs (around 9:30-10pm). They usually stay up on their phones Instagramming and such, though. lol
2) .awkward! It’s an Mtv show and it’s so great. I know I might be a smidge older than the target demographic, but it’s so funny. I love and recommend it! <3 🙂
I love Awkward. I’m so sad that this will be the last season. 🙁
I also have a 7 year old and a 2 year old as well. During school he goes to bed at 8, and the 2 year old usually by 830 because she is still a great napper. I feel bad because lately he’s been going to sleep when it’s light out. School is out this week and we will probably start doing bedtime at 9 and he can play his leap pad or read after bedtime.
My biggest guilty pleasure show is probably Grey’s anatomy. I literally can’t stop watching it. Even when I skip a season I’ll just go binge watch on Netflix, and start up again when the new season starts 🙂
Not responsive to your questions, but has anyone heard anything about Bite Box? Did they go out? Looks like their website is down.
Bed times are a mixed bag in my house. If my kids could only just behave and be quiet they could stay up late. We have movie night, we like to stay up and watch my bbc mysteries. but, alot more often than not, they fight and make a bunch of stressful noise, so I send them to the rooms for quiet time for me to recover. if they stay up passed 9 they all can be quite moody a day or two in. and then more fighting and noise. so. Its really up to them. the better they behave, the more nights they can stay up. otherwise, 8 goodnight.
Ive been more into books than tv. But the only show i kind of look forward to is Messengers right now
C is the same way if he is up after 8 for a couple days in a row he is a bear to deal with so I’m sure his will be similar to normal. With N in year round he will only be out for 3 weeks and then he does stay up later but like you normally he will go back out after dinner to play and then come in when it gets dark and he quickly gets ready for bed and is out so probably closer to 10 then his normal 9ish. I don’t want him too off since its only a couple weeks.
Hmm guilty pleasure show is so hard to say. In the summer I’d go with Big Brother with all the watching and then the recaps and the night shows. There is so much. Otherwise I would say General Hospital. I don’t always watch everyday but I love to have it on when I’m doing things and checking in all the time. LOL I know I feel like an old timey sahm watching my soaps everyday. 😉
