The Box

Angels’ Cup ships via USPS on a weekly basis. They receive fresh shipments of coffee one day per week and then turn around and repackage and ship to customers. My box didn’t include an information card, but I was easily able to look up what coffees where included.  I received the following items:

~Sample No. 142: Sample No. 142 is Ethiopia YirgacheffeZero from Coda Coffee. It’s flavors include florals, brown sugar, black tea, lemon, cinnamon and jackfruit.  On the Angels’ Cup website, they have a great chart that rates the following: aftertaste, complexity, body, bitterness and sweetness.  This one scored highest in complexity.

~Sample No. 143: Sample No. 143 is Colombian Monserrate from Coda Coffee.  It also ranks high on the complexity scale, but has a lot of body as well.  This coffee has flavors of red pepper, garlic, squash and coffee blossom.  It described as having “winery” notes as well.
