GLOSSYBOX is a monthly beauty subscription box and includes five luxury surprise beauty items shipped to your door.   I have been a subscriber for years and am always in awe at the value they pack into their boxes.

GLOSSYBOX ships via USPS and generally boxes ship in the second half of the month (as I mentioned I received this one early for review purposes).  Sometimes it’s the last week of the month, sometimes it’s closer to the 20th of the month and sometimes, like this month, it’s around mid-month!

GLOSSYBOX packages everything beautifully and just has an overall great presentation.  The boxes are sturdy and can be re-used for storage or gift giving.

GLOSSYBOX typically has variations on their boxes so while I knew a few of the items in the box, I didn’t know everything.  Lots of my items were hiding in the first look so I still didn’t know what all I had received.

My July 2015 GLOSSYBOX included the following items:

~Hey Honey I Peel Good ($29.50): When I opened the box I was disappointed at the small size of this, but then I realized it was half the size of the full-sized item, which is actually a very generous sample.  This peel doesn’t go on sale until the end of July, which means GLOSSYBOX subscribers get to try it first!  Peel is always such a scary word, but I didn’t find this to be at all harsh.  It left my skin feeling extra hydrated and very soft.

~Cargo Cosmetics Better-Than-Waterproof Mascara ($9.09): I was impressed at how much this lengthened my lashes. I did find it to clump a little, but that could have been a user error.  It was nothing a lash comb couldn’t fix though.

~Kueshi Anticellulite Booster ($22.60): This “body smoother” combats existing cellulite and prevents it’s formation. Results don’t show up instantly, so I don’t know how well it works, but I am game for trying it at night (the directions call for overnight use).  It’s got a soft maybe citrus / floral scent to it?  I am not sure how to describe it, but it’s really pretty.

~Face Stockholm Lip Liner (Rochelle) ($17): Face Stockholm makes great products, but I am not overly excited about getting a lip liner.  I don’t use it so I will be passing it on to a friend (who I am sure will be excited).  I will say that the color is awesome.  The information card says that colors will vary and the website shows this comes in a ton of colors!

~Naked Lips Organics Lip Balm (Peppermint) ($5.50): Now lip balm, that I can get excited about.  It’s smooth (sometimes lip balms get chunky) and make my lips soft.  And it smells good.  What else do you need from a lip balm?

All totaled I came up with a value of $83.69 for the July 2015 GLOSSYBOX.  Had I not done the breakdown on this I wouldn’t have thought it was nearly as valuable!  I am much more impressed by it now that I have better looked everything over and played with the contents.  I might even end up getting the full size of the Hey Honey Peel when it comes out too!
