The Box of Style is a new seasonal subscription box by Rachel Zoe. It promises to include $300 favorite fashion, beauty and lifestyle items hand-curated by Rachel and The Zoe Report Team. This box launched in Spring 2015 and this Summer box is just the second box they have released.

The Box of Style ships via UPS from California. My box took under a week to arrive to me which wasn’t too bad. I believe that some boxes were delayed in shipment though, however, I did read that they will have a bonus item in them. If your box was delayed, let me know what your bonus was!

Everything was individually wrapped which made it even more fun to open.  Even though I knew what was in the box I felt like unwrapping everything made it more of a surprise.

The Summer 2015 Box of Style information booklet features product information, as well as, Styling Ideas for each of the items in the box and coupon codes.  The Rachel Zoe Box of Style included the following Summer obsessions:

~Cambridge Satchel Company Large Push Lock Leather Bag ($150): This cross-body is the “Hero Item” of this box.  I am on the fence on it.  On one hand I think it is gorgeous and stylish and I have nothing like it, but on the other hand, how often will I use a white purse?  It doesn’t have any interior pockets, but that’s not a huge issue.  The hardware on it is great and you can tell it’s well made.   I also love that it included a dust bag.  I think I like this much more as a clutch (the strap is removable) than I do as a cross-body.

~Too Faced Bronzer in Sunny Bunny ($30): Too Faced is a great brand and I am in need of some fresh bronzer. I like that this has two shades it in and think it looks very natural.  Well, as long as you don’t use too much anyway.  A little goes a long way which means this will last for ages.

~Too Faced Lip Creme in Spice Spice Baby ($22): Gorgeous color!  I like that all subscribers received the same color and I think this was a fabulous pick because it’s so neutral.  It kind of says fall to me, but that’s okay. I may end up keeping this one for myself because I do like it so much.

~Mara Hoffman Sarong (Box of Style Exclusive) ($98): This sarong is a Box of Style exclusive.  The colors and the print are fabulous.  It’s very tropical and makes me think of Hawaii and Fiji and other fabulous places.  I don’t have a ton of use for a sarong, but this is huge and will make a great scarf / shawl too.  The information card even suggests using it as a blanket.  I also love the tassels on the corners of this.

~O.R.G. Skincare Mineral Face Peel ($44): This isn’t the most expensive item in the box, but it’s the one I am most excited about.  It’s super easy to use.  Just spray it on, wait a few seconds and then exfoliate with a washcloth (I used a konjac sponge) and rinse. I thought it left my skin feeling fresher and smoother. I will definitely keep using this and may trade for more.

~Bristols 6 Nippies ($26): Rachel Zoe suggests using these for times when “a bra might be distracting” from the sheer, gauzy and lightweight fabrics of the summer.  I honestly think it would be more distracting if I didn’t wear a bra, but that’s just me.  LOL!  I have a few friends who would love these though so I will happily pass them along. These would have come in much handier about fifteen years and two kids ago.

All totaled I came up with a value of $370 for the Summer 2015 Rachel Zoe Box of Style.  That is an insane value for $100 and while I wasn’t totally sold on everything (although I do think I can make the purse work) I am very happy with this.  It was easily worth the price and the items did feel like Rachel Zoe’s style.
