Today I’m Smiling Because…
~The boys and I had a fun week full of adventures including a trip to the Zoo! Very fun. And while checking out the dinosaur exhibit I overhead another little kid asking his parents when they were going to see the real dinos. LOL!!!!
~L has decided he wants to see how many steps a day he takes and is now wearing my fitbit. He’s cracking me up because he was sitting on the couch watching YouTube Minecraft videos and kicking his feet around trying to get his step count up. That’s not how it works! LOL!
~I was able to locate the Not Your Father’s Root Beer my cousin was looking for. I even picked up a pack for B to try when he gets home.
~I got a few great nights of sleep this week.
~Five Below rocks. I took the boys this week and gave them each $5 to spend there. They were so serious about picking out their items and making sure they had enough to spend. I went a little over budget on my items, but I figured the boys and I would end up sharing them all so no big deal!
~My neighbors rock. I mention it all the time, but we are so lucky. Everyone is friendly and kind and looks out for one another. So amazing.

… Is that Batgirl lip balm? If so, what flavor is it? I can’t really read the package. It looks so cool. 😀
LOL yes, it is! It’s vanilla flavored but the actual lip balm is orange. It’s really sheer though, so you can’t see the orange. The lid even has a “cape”. So cute!
Har, har har. I get lots of “steps” by petting the dogs!
Our week was super mild. My kids didnt want to get books to read at the library. So i suggested they look and see if maybe they would like a craft book or somethung light reading instead. They each found cook books. And they each made meals for the family. That was pretty neat. One night was a baked potato bar. One night was pasta and this last one was specialty pizzas. Simple but really fun.
My husband surprised me with an apple watch for our anniversary. So i let my daughter use my fitbit. She stood by the fan and jogged in place. Then said 10k steps was cake. Um yeah. No. then she left it at grandparents house. Sooooooo fitbit is mine again. Haha. Ugh.
That root beer is so good!! We thought (a little too late, while finishing the last one) to make adult root beer floats with it and now we can’t find it anywhere!!
Where can u get root beer..girls at work been trying to find it..funny almost asked you..have u tried Myer lemon cookies Costco..they suggest ice cream Sammie’s with them?
