Eeek, my August 2015 POPSUGAR Must Have Box is here! I love POPSUGAR and I never tire of finding their boxes in my mailbox.
If you aren’t familiar with them, POPSUGAR Must Have Box is an exciting box full of fun, must-have picks across fashion, beauty, home decor, fitness, and more, which is delivered to your door on a monthly basis. Boxes include full-size products and premium items including tried-and-true classics, celebrity favorites, and brands consumers have yet to discover worth over $100!
POPSUGAR Must Have Box ships via FedEx Smart Post and generally takes about a week to arrive. I think they ship in batches because some people had received their boxes this month before mine had even shipped. It’s always worth the wait though so I don’t mind (well, not too much anyway).
I had peeked at all the spoilers (as I always do), but it’s always better to open up the boxes and check everything out in person. This month’s box was packed full and looked great.
The August 2015 POPSUGAR Must Have Box was inspired by “Organization”, “Morning Routines”, “Celebrations”, “Caffeine” and “Back to School” and included the following items:
~Royal Apothic Tea Balm Firming Eye Treatment ($36): I was thrilled to see a Royal Apothic item in this month’s box. I love the brand and have found everything I have tried from them to be high-quality and absolutely fantastic. This eye treatment works to rejuvenate your skin and banish dark circles for an overnight refresher. I will start using this immediately.
~Happy Jackson YAYLUNCH Lunch Box ($10): So cute! This is something I would see and end up buying on my own. We have gotten a few lunch boxes / lunch containers from POPSUGAR in the past, but I never tire of them. The bright colors of this will make it easy to spot in the office fridge or in your tote bag.
~Shortstacks Birthday Cake Pancake and Waffle Mix ($8): We have received Shortstacks mixes in other boxes and have loved them. August is POPSUGAR’s 3 birthday (well actually their first box was in July 2012, but they consider August to be their anniversary) so I think this mix was a nod to that. My sister-in-law isn’t overly thrilled with hers so she’s going to pass it on to me. The boys will be thrilled!
~American Colors Mediterranean Plaid Scarf ($79): I didn’t realize this from the spoilers, but this scarf is actually more of a long rectangle than the square I was expecting. I like it this way more because you can use it as a scarf or as a wrap. It’s 100% cotton gauze and will work well for the upcoming fall nights.
~Pastel Best Day Ever Mug by Fringe Studios ($12): This is easily my favorite item in the box. I love mugs and this one is adorable. It’ll be nice for coffee and / or ice-cream. So very cute.
~Meri Meri Toot Sweet Pink Stripe Napkins ($6): I don’t really need adorable pink striped napkins, but since they are here I will use them.
~My Yoga Works 3 Month Trial ($45): MyYogaWorks offers over 700 different online classes. Each card has a unique code for a 3-month trial and it might be the most excited about a fitness item I have ever been. I am going to get B to show me how to get these on the tv (instead of my computer) and plan on trying it out.
~Special Extra: Folgers Iced Cafe Caramel Macchiato Flavored Coffee Drink Concentrate ($5): This is really neat. You just add it to milk and boom, you’ve got iced coffee. I am all over this!
All totaled I came up with a value of $201 for the August 2015 POPSUGAR Must Have Box. I loved this box and loved that it had so many different types of items in it. Even if you didn’t love everything, hopefully there were a few items you found you loved. I have to say POPSUGAR is still my favorite subscription box!
What do you think of the August POPSUGAR Must Have Box box? If you are a new subscriber you can use the coupon code “REFER5” to save $5 off your first box. The darkly sarcastic side of me wants to figure out how to add some acrylic bloody fingerprints to that mug!
hahahahaha. Let me know if you figure it out 🙂
this is a great box! Totally makes me miss my subscription.
Where’s the organization? I guess the lunch box? But I figured that was back to school.
Love it as usual! The scarf is better than I expected and I will get a lot of use out of it. The eye cream is awesome- I saw immediate results! I started the yoga sub and loving that as well.
Between vacation and house hunting, had not seen any spoilers and I didn’t open the box until this morning.
Not an “OMG BEST EVER” but a solid yes on this end. The scarf is wonderful, love the color, love the pattern, love the texture. While I don’t need a new mug, my assistant exclaimed she loved it when I opened it so TaDa! A gift for her before she heads off for vacation tomorrow (and a bribe to please return maybe lol). Eye treatment always needed. The pancake and waffle mix might come into play for my husbands birthday later this month (along with the cute napkins…I love Meri Meri stuff). That little Iced Coffee thing makes 12 servings so great to be able to try that out. The only thing that my be gifted is the lunch box as I have several and my lunches are never that small! All around I consider this a good solid month.
