~Good morning! I am not sure how, but this week has turned out to be extra fun! B had Monday off so we hit up open swim in the afternoon and then had a fun dinner with funnel fries for dessert (SO GOOD). The little boys went to see Shaun the Sheep on Tuesday (and cannot stop signing the songs from the movie) and then yesterday we went to a Back 2 School party at a local church. It may have been the coolest back to school party ever. They had free backpacks with school supplies, a zillion bounce houses, a band, face-painting, food, games and even a video gaming trailer. Just the coolest.
~Some September subscription boxes have already started arriving and I still have some August ones rolling in as well. I am still expecting the Birchbox Gym Bag Heroes Box, the Birchbox Man Smarter Workout Box, For the Faithful, Kloverbox, Wantable, Stitch Fix, A Little Bundle and Hammock Pack for sure. I know that some people have received tracking for the August Little Lace Box, but I haven’t gotten mine yet. If you see any spoilers for that let me know!! I also noticed that the Fall POPSUGAR Special Edition box is showing up on my FedEx online tracking! It hasn’t started moving yet, but it’s 5.1lbs and it looks like it will be here in the next week or so.
~I can’t remember if I tried these last year, but I must say that sea salt chocolate candy corn is actually quite good. I like (well kind of like) regular candy corn, but this is better. You know what they should make? Sea Salt Oreo’s. They have every other flavor, so why not those?
~A few things I am loving right now 1) Iced Coffee. I cannot get enough. Sometimes it’s like I am drinking coffee flavored milk and sometimes it’s much more coffee like. Either way, I love it. 2) Thred-Up. I just placed a back to school order and am on the verge of placing another. They offer gently used items for more than reasonable prices. They always have coupon codes too! 3) My KEEP creations. I just have fun putting them together every day! 4) Baxter & Buddy. Yeah, they get into their fair share of trouble and seem to have selective hearing, but I love those dogs. 5) Chilly Weather. I think it’s going to warm up again soon, but sleeping with the windows open and being a little chilly is amazing. 6) Lilly Popovers! The more I wear them the more I love them. They are cozy and cute and the prints are always so fun.
