As you can see, we opted for the “Distilled” box this month. It included lots of breakables, but everything was packaged quite nicely.
“Distilled” featured everything (well except the booze) to make your own Gin, including The Homemade Gin Kit by W&P Design which features a 750ml bottle, a fine stainless steel strainer, a stainless steel funnel, a pack of juniper berries and a blend of aromatic botanicals), Enamelware Tumbler Set, 12oz by W&P Design & Tonic Water, 10oz by Boylan Heritage). What I didn’t realize about making gin was that vodka was required. LOL! We had to pick up a bottle of generic “mid-shelf” vodka to start the process.
All of the instructions were included on how to make the gin and they were very clear and easy to follow. I think it took 3 days in all? Nothing extremely long.
I am not a fan of gin, but I did enjoy the experience of making it and seeing what all went into it. B likes gin, so not only did he enjoy the process, he’s also happy to have his own bottle of homemade gin for the bar!
