bluum September 2015 Subscription Box

bluum, is a monthly box of goodies for moms and babies.  Products are hand selected based on your child’s age (from pregnancy to preschool), gender and developmental stage.  I have gotten bluum for years and while the boxes have had their ups and downs I have generally been pretty pleased with them and have stuck with my subscription.

The Box

bluum ships via FedEx Smart Post and generally takes about a week to arrive.  I typically plan on receiving it during the second half of the month.

First Look
The Information Card

For the first time ever, bluum allowed subscribers to customize their entire box.  I *think* it’s going to be this way going forward, but I am having some issues with my account right now, so I can’t really be sure.

The Card

The card included in the bluum box doesn’t include product information. Rather, that information is sent to you in an e-mail on the day that you receive your box and it appears in your account online as well.  Since I selected my items I knew what was coming in our September bluum.

~The Lost Stars by Hannah Cumming ($7.99): Aww, this book is so sweet. The stars in this book decide that with all the new technology and bright lights, they weren’t being appreciated so they went on vacation.  It’s a cute reminder of why we need the stars and a good way to remind the kids to appreciate them more.

~Play Tape Road Tape (30ft) ($9.11): WB is obsessed with cars so I knew he’d be all over this.  We actually had some similar tape (road and train tracks) a while back, but that’s long gone now.  I am going to try and hold out and use this one for a stocking stuffer for him.

~KidZinger Water Bottle ($12.99): I have the adult sized version of this and love it.  WB often tries to steal mine, so I figured it would just be best to get him his own.

~Zulu One Touch Water Bottle ($9.99): I picked this items for myself ;).  I have a water bottle addiction and love to get cute new ones. I think I feel like if I have enough cute water bottles I will be led to drink more water, but that really doesn’t happen.   This one is a BPA/BPS-free plastic and has a super easy to use flip top lid.

All totaled I came up with a value of $40.08 for our September 2015 bluum box.  I selected everything in this box, so there isn’t any way I could dislike this one! It’s a great box and I just love this new customization feature.
