Bonjour Jolie ships via USPS. They ship based on preferences indicated in your profile. If you purchase before the 25th of the month your box will ship that month. If you purchase after the 25th of the month your box will ship the following month.
Bonjour Jolie does a great job with not only their selections, but also with their packaging. I don’t think packaging a time of the month box to look neat is an easy task at all, but they do it well.
The September 2015 Bonjour Jolie theme was De-Stress and Stay Calm” and included the following items:
~The Gift: Laura Geller Baked Eye Shadow ($24): These colors are amazing and I love that the “Gift” is already worth over the cost of the box!
~The Pampering: Tocca Body Wash in Cleopatra ($4.50): I have always loved Tocca hand cream, but I have yet the try their body wash. Until now. I like the scent (it’s a grapefruit / cucumber mix which sounds odd, but isn’t) and just love when Tocca appears in subscription boxes.
~The Edibles: This month’s edibles included BiscotTea Shortbread, Donsuemor Madelines, Chimes Organic Ginger Chews, Bali’s Best Tea and Coffee Candies, Yogi Tea and, my favorite, Crispy M&M’s. This was a fabulous assortment of snacks and included a little something for every palet.
~Other Items: All Bonjour Jolie boxes include pain reliever and feminine wipes. Two items which are helpful to have on hand at all times.
~The Supplies: Bonjour Jolie allows you to choose up to 25 pads, tampons and / or liners of your choice. You can mix and match brands or stick with a full sealed box. It’s totally up to you to select what’s best for you and your needs.
I didn’t do a full cost breakdown on this box, but the value is well over the cost! Just the “gift” alone is worth the cost of the box. This month’s Bonjour Jolie selection was so nice and I was impressed with it all.

I have to laugh when they send out all this sugar as it’s the absolute worst stuff to eat right before and during a period. It seriously messes with the hormones, and it can make a period that much worse. I get why they do it, but it’s still a bad idea.
This subscription. I loved the idea of this subscription so much, and it worked out for a few months. However, that all changed when I attempted to change preferences. I updated on my end, but they never followed through with the changes on their end. After several months of the wrong products and unanswered emails to customer service, I cut my losses and sent a cancellation email. They didn’t have the courtesy to respond to that one either, but they did at least cancel the account. Such a disappointment for a sub to value their customers so little.
I have this box and have been with them for almost a year. I really love the variery of items they send and the themes. The always have an info card and never send the same thing twice! Out of all the “period” boxes they seem to be the best, and most well thought out. Plus they mostly use small businesses which is great!
Their customer service is spot on amazing though. They are quick on facebook and with emails. You just login and password to your account to change anything you need, so easy peasy.
Any coupons? My six month sub is up this month and I want to renew again!
I love this box. The contents are so thoughtful and interesting I look forward to it every month. I have almost a childish delight in looking through the contents – it’s almost like when I would get birthday party goody bags as a kid, with little toys and candy. The contents are not expensive, but they are fun and nice.
As for customer service, I have had them both respond to me right away and not respond at all. I am not surprised to hear Kerry’s experience, I also had trouble changing my product preferences, but they’ve now automated it where you can login to your account and change them up as often as you want. Hopefully that change has lightened their load a bit so they can focus more on customer service.
Ya the login option is a damn long time coming, and a dream come true,
Easy as pie change anything you want now! I think that has to have made things easier for them.
Oh, and P.S. I don’t usually eat sweet things but during “that” time of the month I totally crave them! I love getting just enough to curb the sweet tooth 🙂
I ove the sweets too! Sweet and salty is my favorite and they really give you a mix of cookies, or cake and candy. So glad to have chocolate now, but totally see why they didn’t ship it out until now, no chocolate lava in my box thank you!
I love this idea, and also think the monthly theme is a fun part of the package. Very creative, and very fun for women who need a lift every month. I’m assuming a woman came up with this idea? Perfect. Thanks for sharing.
Yep, I seen on their site that it was started by a mom and her daughter. That was pretty awesome. Plus an idea like this had to be a women I mean come on right??
I’ve ordered this box and it?s really good choice to raise your mood during this hard time for every women. :)) Also I like tampons, so for me it?s the best gift in this box as eyeshadows too ? And those sweets! Everything what I need that day is to eat and eat and eat. Perfect box!
