fabfitfun is a quarterly monthly subscription box that includes hand-selected items (the “hottest of the season”) in beauty, fashion, fitness and wellness from the fabfitfun team. fabfitfun is $49.99/quarter and beginning with their Summer 2014 box, they ship to Canada!
Typically fabfitfun ships via FedEx Smart Post, but for some reason my box shipped via USPS Priority Mail this season. I am guessing it’s because I am a VIP member, but don’t quote me on that.
fabfitfun packs their boxes full! This box had tons of items in it and very little packing material. There were no breakables in it, so it all worked out just fine.
The Fall 2015 fabfitfun box is a partnership with Allstate Foundation Purple Purse to help spread awareness and prevent domestic violence during the month of October. The revamped purple box is a nod to that and was designed by Kelsey Oseid, a freelance artist in Minneapolis, MN.
The Fall 2015 fabfitfun box included the following amazing goodies:
~Gold Radiance Luxury Facial Mask with Collagen and Rose Oil by Passport to Beauty ($65): Ohhh, based on the spoilers I was expecting to receive just one of these masks, but two is even better. They are designed to stimulate circulation, increase enzyme activity and soothe skin. These are actually formulated with luxurious colloidal gold (along with collagen) and look crazy while on. Like they could be a Halloween costume. LOL. But they are such a luxury and an amazing treat.
~FabFitFun x Tappan Collective Umbrella ($32). Subscribers were given the option between in Pretty in Pink, Sky Blue, Classic Black, Mango Tango or Sunshine Yellow – I opted for the pink. I personally think an umbrella is more of a Spring item, but it rains here in the fall too so whatever. This umbrella (which is imprinted with “Rain Rain Rain Go Away”) was designed by LA-based artist Ashkahn Shahparnia exclusively for FabFitFun subscribers.
~Lucky Lip Stain by Manna Kadar Cosmetics (4mL / 0.135fl.oz) ($24 $19.20): This lip product is a primer, lip gloss and lip stain in one. I am obsessed with the color and think it’d be gorgeous on every skin tone. It wasn’t sticky and I found it to be moisturizing and long-lasting.
~3D White Brilliance 2-Step System by Crest (Sample – Sponsored): Crest was a sponsored item in this box and included a one-time use sample. I doubt I would be able to tell the difference after one use, but I already use Crest White Stripes and know they make good whitening products. It will be fun to compare the differences between the two applications.
~Flawless Skin Fluid by Doctor D Schwab ($39): I have never heard of the Doctor D. Schwab brand so this is a new item for me. This product is a tinted moisturizer that can be used under makeup or on it’s own to make your skin tone appear more even and to help smooth skin. I found it to have the tiniest amount of shimmer and thought it blended in super easily. I could see myself buying more of this.
~Purple Purse Foundation Tassel Charm: In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness month, fabfitfun teamed up with Allstate Foundation Purple Purse to help spread awareness for this worthy cause. By attaching this charm (which is gorgeous by the way) to your purse, you can help promote awareness and join the fight. I will be doing just that!
~HISY Battery Pack ($24.99): VIP subscribers were given the option between Berry + Rose, Mint + Lavender or Aqua + Navy for this one – I opted for the Berry + Rose. I have a few chargers similar to this, but listen, I always need more. I lose them, they break, you get the idea. I should really just keep this one full charged in my car at all times. I may or not have picked this color because I thought B would be less likely to steal it ;).
~Strength Tubing Ankle & Tone Body Tone with Tubing: Lower Body & Core DVD by Merrithew ($33): fabfitfun always includes a workout item in their box and this one looks so neat. It’s a strength tubing ankle to help work your thighs, glutes and calves. They have included a full length workout dvd that will tone your lower body and core to get maximum shaping and sculpting results as well. I need to gather all my workout DVD’s and make it a point to work out in the basement when WB is at school.
~Glass Crystal Bead Bracelet by Tribe Alive ($49): VIP Subscribers were given the option to choose between Aquamarine, Mexican Blue, White Jade or Grey Jade. I thought I selected grey, but I must have went for Mexican Blue at the last minute. It was the boldest color of the bunch so that may have swayed me. While I think the bracelet is gorgeous (it’s very delicate which I love) and will get a ton of use of it, I doubt I would have paid $49 for it on my own.
~Jeweler’s Wife Gift Card ($15): This gift card includes shipping and gives you $15 to spend on any item. Prices don’t seem to be outrageous and they have a huge sale selection too. I can’t wait to dig around the site more and pick out something fun.
~Picture it On Canvas Gift Card ($75): The final item in the box was a $75 gift card to Picture It on Canvas. Again, shipping is free on this. They have iPhone cases, coasters, canvas, etc. You can get yourself something or get your holiday shopping started with this one!
All totaled (including the gift cards) the Fall 2015 fabfitfun box has a value of $357 $352.20. I am totaled thrilled with this box and think it was $49.99 well spent! I *might* even end up picking up another one of these to break up and use for gifts. It’s just such a great deal and was filled with so many amazing items!
