Hammock Pack is a monthly surprise pack filled with everything you need to take a much needed getaway without even leaving your home. Boxes are geared towards women and each month you will receive a pack filled with a mix of food, bath products, housewares, and accessories that you’d only find if you visited that month’s destination city.

The Box

Hammock Pack ships via USPS Priority Mail and is supposed to ship around the 25th of the month. I feel like mine has been shipping later and later lately though.

Second First Look

Sometimes I feel like Hammock Pack is a little too food centered, but I thought this first look showed a nice mix of items.

The Information Card

The September 2015 Hammock Pack destination was “New York” and included the following items:

~Salty Road Salt Water Taffy (Sea Salt Caramel) (100g / 3.5oz) ($6.50): Salty Road Taffy is from Brooklyn, NY and is made using natural flavorings, such as fruit purees and real vanilla bean.  I love Salty Road taffy and the sea salt caramel is my favorite, but it’s been in a lot of boxes so I feel like they could have mixed it up and selected a different item.

~Salt of the Earth Bakery – Chocolate Chip Cookies (226g / 8oz) ($7): Now these are a new item to me and I couldn’t be happier.  They are chocolate chip cookies with sea salt in them!  SO GOOD!  They are also made in Brooklyn, NY and I agree with the package, they are “everything a cookie always wanted to be”.

~Simple Traditions Whipped Watermelon Soap (4oz) ($6): OMG this smells amazing.  It’s family made in upstate, NY and I’m obsessed.  I want to get other scents of this immediately.

~AromaFloria Stress Less Bubble Bath (Lavender * Chamomile Sage) (9floz / 266mL) ($13): This bubble bath is made with 100% plant based ingredients and no parabens. It smells like and relaxing and I hope it really does make me stress less!

All totaled I came up with a value of $32.50 for the August 2015 Hammock Pack.  I really enjoyed this box.  It’s not an amazing value, but I enjoy the curation and I like being introduced to new brands and products.

What do you think of Hammock Pack?  What city / state would you like to see them do next?  I am still routing for a Detroit box!
