Lip Monthly is a subscription that I wonder how they do it every month. The value is always well over the cost and includes lots of name brand products.
The September 2015 Lip Monthly included the following items:
~Jing Ai Velvet Crayon (Pink Star) (Full Size) ($22): I don’t know what’s up with the Jing Ai website right now, but it’s not working right now. This crayon goes on matte and is very bold. The coverage is great and it is long-lasting.
~Noyah Gloss (Summertime Peach) (1.7mL) ($4.85): As you know I am more of a gloss person, so this is my favorite item of the bunch. It’s shiny, without being goopy, and isn’t sticky at all.
~Be A Bombshell (Shameless) (Full Size) ($16): I received Shameless, which is a burgundy with shimmer. I found it to be creamy and smooth with just a hint of shimmer. A very nice fall color.
~Jelly Pong Pong Highlighting Pencil (Bare Necessities) (Full-Size) ($17.95): This can be used as an emollient highlighter, eye shadow base, waterliner & concealer in one. I love multi-use products, but will likely end up using this as a concealer the most.
~The Bag: Each Lip Monthly shipment includes a Lip Monthly branded bag. Sometimes they are different, sometimes I receive a bag I have already received in a previous month. I think this pink polka one is my favorite one they have sent.
All totaled I came up with a value of $60.80 for the September 2015 Lip Monthly bag. For a $10 $12.95 bag, that’s an amazing value. I would have liked them to split up the lip crayons and maybe do one this month and one next month, but it’ll all work out in the end.

It ” looks” like a nice box.
However, the nice stops there, IMO. I got this box and every lip product in the box except the organic sample was made in China. You know, the people who have put toxins in our products and killed our dogs with tainted treats and dog foods.
And I’m supposed to put Chinese- made goo on my LIPS? I think not.. I won’t donate the contents for the same reason. All went into the garbage. They list a LOT of nice brands on their website, and this was my first month with them.. But if this continues, I’ll be out. I don’t pay for possible poison, and neither should any other woman, IMO.

On the Lip Monthly website, it is $12.95 per month, not $10. Do they give you a color choice once you sign up? I am so tired of getting orange/peach /warm shades in my ipsy box and really need cool colors.
No, they don’t have customization. I updated to reflect the $12.95 price yesterday. I can’t figure out when it increased!
