This week I am saying so what if…

~I am beyond fascinated with the Pope’s visit to the US.
~I feel we are going to somehow pay for the days on end of constant sunshine and perfect temperatures we’ve been having. And I am nervous.
~I still get excited when I see a subscription box commercial on tv.
~I am not overly into YouTube, but I find Periscope oddly fascinating. Maybe because it’s live? I don’t know.
~I am going to start a petition to move Kathie Lee and Hoda to morning tv instead of their afternoon slot here. ETA: It appears my dreams have come true.  I turned on the tv and boom, they were on at 10am.  #dreamsdocometrue
~I get super proud when I hear of a new store coming to downtown Detroit.
~No matter how mad I get at AT&T when they drop my calls, I know I can’t switch carriers.  B and I have unlimited data plans and that’s worth those random dropped calls.
~Before this week, I had no idea people still placed classified ads in the newspaper to advertise things.
~I want to join a bowling league.
~I can’t wait to see L’s school pictures!
~I am this close to buying a pair of crocs.  What’s happening to me?  #stopme

My husband and I have Verizon with unlimited talk/text. 80 bucks a month for two phones

That’s a deal!! We have unlimited data. It’d cost me at least double to get what I’m getting now if I switched!!

I want to join a bowling league too! But I want it during the day and all of the leagues during the day have age restrictions, 55+ which I am nowhere near. I was on a league when I was 12 and it was so fun.

I have to admit, those crocs are kind of cute.

We the people of Philadelphia and the surrounding area are just ready for the visit to be done with. There will be so many road closures, and there are special Pope passes you have to buy if you want to use public transportation. The only plus side is that my sister’s college is closing on Friday so she gets to come home Thursday for a long weekend!

ha ha I was going to say the same thing. I am not in Philly but my whole family lives there still and my mom is so ready for it to be over. She can’t hibernate at home because she has to work during the event (she is disaster readiness). I have never heard her complain so much.

      1. Jean

Oh my! I hope your mom stays safe!

Trust me, if you lived in Philly/South Jersey as I do you would be so over the Pope. And I like this Pope but omg, be gone.

Crocs are so insanely comfy and have some cute styles so it isn’t all bad. As a hair stylist, I credit them for keeping me on my feet all damn day!

I tried the crocs and ordered but when they arrived I felt like minnie or daisy shoes but they were comfy so I kept them LOL

Crocs: The best! So comfy! DO IT!!!

I am still on the fence about periscope. At least of the people I follow, only a few are doing it well. I feel like it has to be short and to the point, especially because even in playbacks you can’t fast forward or anything.

Oh man… I have always HATED crocs and totally made fun of my BFF for wearing them even around the house. But she had those classic ones with the holes in the top. Then my bridesmaid came to visit and she had the nicer ones like the one you are considering. Now… I’m a little ashamed to admit this… I bought a pair to change into at my reception o__O And I might have taken advantage of a BOGO deal and bought a SECOND pair…. and they might be my favorite shoes now. What is happening?!?!?!

I have some super cute “dressy” crocs that I wear to work all the time!

I’m only following like 2 people on periscope and one is my agency Love The Mouse. We’ve had a couple agents go and scope while they are at WDW. I was mesmerized everytime the little tweet went off I had to jump on and see what was going on. LOL The other one is a local crafty lady who is starting a monthly box. I love when she goes to the distribution center. It was so exciting.

Ok …crocs….my dear loving handsome sexy husband has a pair to check the mail in and wear around the house…he loves them, but if he didnt so much they would be trashed. I understand the croc style evolution is going in the right direction and I also get that they are very comfy but don’t lose sight that you are wearing what appears to be a classed up plastic shoe. I wouldn’t say don’t, but I would say don’t outside of your house. They are the shoe equivalent of old ratty sweats we all have owned well past their expiration date but keep them because they are comfortable….and we don’t leave the house in those either. Crocs on the other hand are great for gardening (see the air holes in the one you showed us) or airport traveling (as my husband has reminded me due to the putting on taking off over and over) if that is what their intended use is for. No matter what you do Jenn we will love you ….and if you wear them into the real world it looks like you will have many cheering you on……and have just a slight twinge from me….but it’s okay…..you have the right to do what makes you happy and I am sure you will rock it. ((My Croc rant is over)) Insert sorry emoji here. I also am fascinated with the Pope’s trip despite not being Catholic, it is still very cool and he is criss crossing political lines which is fabulous….But sorry for the people of Philly…I can’t imagine trying to get things done in that city right now. I work for Verizon and they are so set on getting everyone out of those unlimited plans that I know it will be at least 3-5 years before they are even considered again if ever. I find most people with them don’t even need them and would save money to change their plan to fit their real life but understandably that is a scary thing to give up. I read somewhere maybe “phonescoop.com that unlimited data att customers will now begin to be throttled when they hit 22gb a month….so watch out for that.

My husband and I both have a pair of crocs that stay at the back door for gardening etc… outside. Really ? the deal is it’s not about what they look like it’s how they feel!!! Light, oh so comfy, easy to slip on & off, inexpensive I think I’ve seen them at TJ Maxx for 20 bucks? I didn’t get all the fuss either until I owned them.
