~I almost skipped Sunday Sentiments today, but I just couldn’t do it! I know it’s a holiday weekend, but we’re home from up-north and just trying to get back in the swing of things to get the school year off to a good start. Anyway, up-north was nice. The tree fort that my cousin and B are building up there is coming along nicely. I think one more trip up there and it will be set. It’s really cool!
~We must talk about last weeks Teen Mom. Did you hear Jenelle listing all the pros and cons of being with Nathan? The cons were huge, like he’s verbally abusive, he calls me trash, he’s controlling, there’s no trust, etc. And the pros were “he’s a good dad”! And then two minutes later Nathan is basically stalking Jenelle trying to get him to take Kaiser off his hands so he could get his “gym time” in. Because, you know, his gym tim is HIS GYM TIME. I can’t even. Same old stuff with Chelsea. Leah went to rehab (sort of) and then came back because she might lose her girlies if she didn’t. But things are all set now so she’s going back next week. Or something. And Kailyn and Javi. Oh man. I thought things were going well and then he about lost.his.mind. when he found out about Jo being on HIS PORCH. Not good. Not good at all.
~In case you missed my post on it earlier today, the next Target Beauty Box will go on sale on Tuesday (9.8.15). I actually may sit this one out. No, for real. Most of the products in it are for curly hair and since mine is straight, well, I just don’t need them. But if you do need them it looks like a great deal! On second thought, maybe I will pick up a box for my cousins at college! They have curly hair and would probably love this.
~Have you tried the new Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks? I was this close to getting it today, but it was like 95 degrees out and I just couldn’t. I am hearing good things though!
~There have been a ton of amazing subscription box deals for Labor Day so I am going to try and put together a summary post later tonight or tomorrow if you missed them. I am planning on picking up a few new boxes for September. So far I have subscribed to Burke Decor and am looking for ideas on a few more. Any new (or not new) boxes out there you want to see reviewed?
