~Good evening! We had such a nice fall weekend here.  Of course, a lot of that was because of the Michigan State win over Oregon (as usual it was super stressful to watch), but the weather was chilly which I love and it just felt like fall.  We went to the Cider Mill today (home to every bee in Michigan) and had some incredible freshly baked cider mill doughnuts and cold cider.  SO good. We are going to have to go back soon so B can go next time too.  Maybe one day after school?  Anyway, it was just a good good weekend.

Happy Fall!

~Is anyone on Periscope?  If so, what’s your username so I can add you?  I don’t ever broadcast, but I am oddly fascinated with watching other people.

~I don’t know why, but I am stupid excited about the new emojis that are coming!  Now I can easily ask B if he wants to play ping pong and go out for hotdogs after!

~Have you seen Aloha? I wasn’t into it at first (there seemed to be a lot going on and I couldn’t really follow it all), but the end got me.  And so did Bradley Cooper.  LOL!  We seem to be having troubles finding movies to watch lately, so I need some recommendations. Have you watched any great ones lately?

~That’s it from here.  I gotta get ready to watch Miss America tonight! I hope you are having a great Sunday night!!!

I watched aloha but I was unimpressed. I thought it needed better writing and more expanded characters. I didn’t get Bradley Cooper and Emma Stone as a couple. And it never explained why he let the first girl go. It just had a lot of holes. I also don’t buy bill Murray as a billionaire. He seems much more likely to be a bum.

Aloha is on our watch list, but haven’t gotten around to it.

We just started Narcos on Netflix. Not sure how many episodes it is, but we’re enjoying it so far (have only seen the first 2 or 3 episodes).

I’m @cptmemo on periscope but I tend to only post when we’re doing something fun. Like I broadcast a lot when we were in Hawaii.

I’m on periscope but I’ve only done one post so far. LOL I need to get better at doing some. I am addicted to watching people on their Disney vacations and then one of my friends here is starting a scrapping box so I like to watch her scopes too. I’m @jennylouthan 🙂
I liked Aloha. I know that people had issues with the casting but I liked the movie overall. I’m way behind in my movies but I did watch The best of me on Netflix this weekend. Have you seen it? I was really into in until the ending. I also was going to start One Day but then the boys headed home from football so I had to stop. My sister tells me it is AWESOME.

I watched “Mud” on Netflix. I’ve been meaning to watch it for a while — it expires next weekend (21st), so if you’re going to watch it, do it fast! It’s really good. Matthew Mc’s 1st serious role in the string before Dallas Buyers Club, True Detective &c. I love “The Killing” (series), which I assume is still on there. “Smoke Signals” is a great movie if you’ve never seen it. “Spanglish” “Silver Linings Playbook” “To Zachary” (documentary, but excellent).

Honestly, Netflix believes my family is clinically insane. I watch a lot of emotional dramas. My husband likes scifi and action – together we watch terrible B-horror movies for laughs (which Netflix has a never-ending supply of). 😀

I am weirdly excited for new emojis. I NEED both eye rolling emojis and tacos. Both of those things are necessary to my texting lifestyle.
