Target Beauty Box - Fall 2015 - Review
Target Beauty Box – Fall 2015

My Target “Fall in Love” Beauty Box arrived over the weekend! This Target Beauty Box was $5 (they vary between $5 and $7) and was available through Target’s website for a limited time only. The “Fall in Love” box was released on September 8th and sold out the same day. I am not sure if there is any set schedule on when they release boxes, but they offered them in April, June, July, August and September of this year.  And, according to the Target website, the next one is “coming soon”.  These are NOT subscription boxes and must be purchased individually as they are released.

The Box

Target Beauty Box ships via USPS and arrived just a few days after I ordered it. I can’t recall if I got tracking on this one or if it just appeared in my mailbox.

I had debated about buying this box and ultimately just decided to go for it.  I figured whatever I didn’t end up using could be used by one of my cousins.

The Information Card

The “Fall in Love” Target Beauty Box included the following favorite to help you with the cooling weather:

~Curls Cream Brule ($2.99): Curls Cream Brule is a cream styler that defines, de-frizzes and moisturizes hair.  My hair isn’t curly so I can’t really tell you if it works with curls, but I can tell you it didn’t weigh my hair down and left it extra soft.

~Jane Carter Solution Revitalizing Leave In Conditioner Set ($3.99): This leave-in conditioner offers a barrier against damage for color-treated, fragile and natural-hair.  This too was lightweight and would be nice for everyday use. It’s paraben-free, sodium lauryl sulfate-free, Sulfate-free, Tear-free and Alcohol-free.

~SheaMoisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Renewal Lotion ($3.99): This oil-based lotion that protects hair against heat damage from styling while restoring moisture and shine.  I haven’t been blowing my hair much lately and try to only do it in the winter when it’s freezing out and I don’t want to be running around with wet hair.  As a result, I will be giving this to my cousins to try.  This one is phthalate-free, labeled paraben-free and sulfate-free.

~Aquaphor Healing Ointment ($1.99):  This is the absolute cutest item tub.  Aquaphor works wonders on dry and cracked skin and lips.  I like to use it on my elbows and heels, but have also used it on WB’s cheeks to help protect it from the harsh winter weather.  Works like a charm.

~Colgate® Optic White Fresh Mint Toothpaste ($1): I have actually purchased this toothpaste in the past and while I can’t say I found my teeth to be any whiter, I did like it. I am super weird about toothpaste, but I was cool with this one.

~Dove Advanced Hair Series Quench Absolute Supreme Crème Serum ($5.99): This product, which is new from Dove, is a leave-in treatment for curls.  It’s a fast absorbing, lightweight serum that utilizes a creamy formula to nourish hair for the ultimate shine and manageability.  Again, I don’t have curly hair so this will be passed along to my cousins.

All totaled the Target “Fall in Love” Beauty Box had a value of $19.95. For a $5 box, including shipping, that is great!  I will probably end up passing at least half of this box on to my cousin(s), but I just couldn’t resist a Target Beauty Box.  They include a $3 off $15 beauty coupon which makes the box an even better deal.

As I mentioned this box is now sold out, but I will post as soon as Target releases the next Beauty Box!
