~Good morning! Both boys had fantastic first days of school and I couldn’t be more thankful. I  knew L would nail it (and he did), but I wasn’t so sure about WB.  But he marched into his classroom yesterday, put his backpack away, smiled and waved goodbye. And that was that. He was a tad irritated that he didn’t get to play on the playground yet (he’s been talking about it all summer), so hopefully that happens soon!  I’m extra proud of my boys this week.

~As you can see in the pictures above we went ahead and painted our front door red.  It was a brownish / grey before and was just blah.  And needed to be repainted anyway.  I knew I’d never be able to pick the color so I let L pick it.  Way easier.  That boy can make a decision! It looks like a different color in every picture I take, but I love it.  It’s amazing what one little can of paint can do.

~B has National Guard this weekend so things will be pretty low key around here.  I have “some” Mom2Mom sale stuff to do and it’s supposed to be kind of chilly, so I am thinking maybe the boys and I will make our first trip of the season to the Cider Mill?  And of course, I need to watch the Michigan State – Oregon game on Saturday night too!  It should be a great game for sure.

~Can someone get Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake their own show?  I mean for real.  Or maybe just make sure that Justin comes on once every few weeks?  Last night’s History of Rap 6 was amazing.
