bookroo is a monthly subscription box for kids. The Box is intended to be an inexpensive way for parents to grow their child’s personal library of books. Boxes with picture books come with 2 books. Boxes with board books come with 3 books.
bookroo ships via USPS at the beginning of the month and you can expect to revive your box by mid-month.
I am still obsessed with this stretchy wrapping paper. I even made sure to show B. He claimed it was cool too, but it’s possible he was just humoring me. I swear it’s awesome though.
Our October 2015 bookroo included the following:
~I Can Be Anything ($12.80): This book was cute! It talked about all the things you could be when you grow up, like a puddle stomper, an apple chomper, etc. It’s nothing that anyone actually “is” for a job, but it’s a silly take on things.
~Bedtime for Monsters ($12.64): Even Monsters have to go to bed! It’s not bedtime so we haven’t read this together yet, but I flipped through it and thought it was fun. The illustrations are great and I even laughed at the Monster kiss at the end.
All totaled I came up with a value of $25.44 for the October 2015 bookroo. I used Amazon (not retail) prices which are hard to beat, so I think this month’s box was a great value! And the selections were great for us as well.
