~The Bag: Each Lip Monthly shipment includes a Lip Monthly branded bag. Sometimes they are different, sometimes I receive a bag I have already received in a previous month.
~Lord & Berry Crayon (20100) ($19): This crayon is highly pigmented and has an amazingly smooth texture. I was impressed by how it glided right on. The color is a almost a light berry and is gorgeous for fall.
~Hikari Crayon (Mandarin) ($13): Mandarin is described as a matte pink coral and I would have to agree with that. It’s a more sheer than the Lord & Berry, but it still gives you great coverage and applies smoothly. I don’t know that this color is what I would have picked for myself, but it’s fun to test out.
~Pencil Me In Liner (One Cent) ($6.99): I know I always say I don’t love eyeliner, but I really love this color. It’s a deep shimmery copper brown and is just beautiful. This is an eyeliner color I could see myself wearing. And I love the built in sharpener too.
~J. Cat Lipstick (Auburn) ($2.99): The formula on this lipstick is better than I expected. It’s got a nice pigment to it and it went on smooth and creamy. I received Auburn which I’d described as an berry with a hint of orange.
All totaled I came up with a value of $41.98 for the October 2015 Lip Monthly! I enjoyed this month’s shipment and think it’s a pretty good deal for the price.

I like that JCat color….going to look into that one.
As a total aside, how does one sharpen those thick crayon lipsticks? I know some twist up, but I can never seem to sharpen the ones that don’t. I have a big sharpener but I must be doing something wrong because the black part doesn’t really sharpen and I mangle the lip color. (I’m sure it is operator error, but I don’t buy those kinds of lip crayons because of it.)
