Can U help me figure out how the themes are connected. Like what product goes to what theme. Because I’m not getting it!! What’s autumn? And what’s breast cancer? The pink COZY socks or the pink top on its a ten??
I just feel that there “themes” are a joke!!

    1. Melissa

LOL I totally agree!!! I guess the “restful nights” is the pillow case and the “cozy” are the socks? And clearly the pink cap on it’s a ten is the breast cancer awareness LOL!!!!!!!

I’ve learned to completely ignore the “theme” spoilers and just decide with the actual spoiler items. I’m stoked over this box. I bought it based upon the scrub. I love honest and have been wanting to try it. The price is close to 15 on that and I want to read the book, so with the 10 friend discount I just paid for both items. The satin pillowcase is something I’ve always wanted b/c I have curlyish hair and they are great to sleep on for hair (and for face wrinkles).

I’m not loving this box. I think the skipper socks are my favorite item. I don’t buy books since we live right up the road from the library and we have e-readers. The scrub looks nice as shows the leave in hair product. Nice but not wow. I like the pillow case idea and I’ll pass this along as a gift. We have real silk ones from Amazon that were like $30 that are awesome. I know I wouldn’t ever play $36 for a polyester pillowcase. I wonder how much the gift card will be for and if it will actually be a gift card or coupon code.

I am going to cancel my box when my subscription runs out. The FabFitFun box is a much better deal.

The socks are my favorite item too. I’m sort of confused by the brown paper liquor bags. I guess I’m supposed to gift someone a bottle of wine in a brown paper bag that says “You’re Welcome”? LOL I better think of a person with a sense of humor. Or maybe I’m supposed to wander around with my wine in the paper bag? Yes, I have my wine in a paper bag. You’re welcome.

    1. Mellissa Rose

That is funny. You’re welcome on a gift. But you are right.

      1. Melissa

LOL right???!? “Here is a bottle of wine in a paper bag. You’re welcome.”

        1. Jennifer

LOL. If you give me some wine in a paper bag I would be happy. LOL.

          1. Melissa

            LMAO!!

I actually really like this box, better than last month. I was so excited last month to receive the brow kit, then a week before we received the box, I snagged a benefit brow product with my birchbox points and fell in love. I thought it was stupid to try something else when I finally found something that really worked. My sister told me she didn’t love the brow kit, so I was glad I tossed it up on ebay, same with the earrings. I liked the travel kit, but won’t use it for awhile.

With this box, I feel like I’ll definitely use everything. I am actually really excited to use the pillowcase, read the book and who doesn’t love cozy socks. I kinda wish they had tossed a baking item in or some hot beverage item, but we still have plenty of winter boxes those could be in.

I never even bother to think about the theme and don’t really care if they follow along with a theme. I love, love, love this box!! I always like when they give us a book – I would never buy this on my own but so happy to have it to read, love the socks, love the hair treatment, love love love love the liquor bags lol.

IMO PopSugar has had a very strong 2015. The only box I have not been impressed with is the only one I passed on, which was the Fall SE box. I also passed on the Neiman Marcus box, simply because I was so disappointed last year (but loved the NM box in 2013). I will buy a holiday/winter SE box though. As for the monthly boxes, sure there have been items here or there I wasn’t a huge fan of, but for the most part, I think they have had a very strong year. I’ve been delighted every month, this month no exception.

Is this a wow box? No. But I think it’s a good solid box with new and interesting things. (and I know some folks who go to the library or use ereaders don’t like getting books but I’m always happy as it means once I read the book I can pass it on to my elderly Aunt and at some point the book gets donated to a school/old folks home etc.)

  9. Leanne

I love it!! I’m really excited about the book, pillowcase, and socks. The rest is just extra to me but sounds great. I’ve loved every Popsugar box this year.

  10. Kelly

The you’re welcome is so going to my best friend. It will work for her, it’s so sassy.

  11. Robyn

I’m not impressed. I don’t actually care for anything in the box. Can’t really re-gift one pillow case…
Sad. As this is only my 2nd box and my first venture into the “subscription box” world. Ah well. If the November one isn’t good – I guess I’ll be cancelling. 🙁

    1. Mellissa Rose

That is stinky. I’m in love with FabFitFun. There was a review on this blog a few days go plus a coupon code for ten bucks off. That box was worth well over $300. I’m doing my blog review today but it had so many great items in it.

  12. Rachel

I have gotten the popsugar box for a year . This box is the most disappointing. There did not seem to be a cohesive theme.
How can can you have a October box without a Halloween product?

    1. Erica

Ah, last year they had a Halloween item in October and it didn’t work super well. It was really low value and some people (me) didn’t get their boxes until after Halloween.

  13. Tracee

The book is the most interesting item in this months box for me.

I finally tried the lavender scrub. Oh my goodness. It is awful. I am so thankful I didn’t gift this. What a mess. I opened it and the “seal” had already come off and product was leaking. Then I put some on my hands and scrubbed it. I could not get the stuff off. It is like some kind of odd chapstick oil product that has an awful scent. And I love real lavender and get bottles of it from Young Living. Was mine bad? Maybe. I just chucked the entire thing in the garbage. I wouldn’t have used this for free if someone gave it to me. Yuck yuck yuck. My hands still feel gross even after scrubbing them with soap.
