BarkBox November 2015 Subscription Box Review - + Coupon Code
BarkBox November 2015 Subscription Box

BarkBox is a monthly subscription box for dogs. Each monthly box contains a combination of 4-6 treats, toys, and hygiene products that have been hand selected and approved by Scout (the dog), head product tester for BarkBox. All treats included in the boxes are sourced from the USA and Canada, and chews are sourced from the USA, Canada, South America, Australia and New Zealand, so you can be assured that your pet is only getting safe, high-quality items. Boxes can be customized based on the size of your pet (I get the Small box for the furries) and you can add an additional toy to your box for an extra $9/month. We have been getting BarkBox for ages and have always been satisfied with them.

The Box

BarkBox ships via DHL Global Mail (starts out with DHL and is delivered by the Post Office) and took just a few days to arrive this month. I generally expect it to arrive on or around the 20th of the month.

First Look

Baxter and Buddy were ALL over this box.  They smelled something in there they were interested in.

The Card

For the first time ever the BarkBox information card didn’t include a breakdown of the products in the box.  The box didn’t have a theme either. I am really hoping this is just a one time thing and not a preview of what is to come.  Regardless, my box included the following items:

~Zee Dog The Squash ($8.99): This is super sturdy and is made of 100% non-toxic durable natural rubber.  You can stuff treats inside and challenge your dogs to try and get them out.  My dogs do.not.understand how this works and have never successfully gotten a treat out of anything like this.  It’s fun to watch though.

~Sawmill Creek Smokehouse Pig Ear ($2):  I think Baxter and Buddy would be happy if BarkBox included a pig’s ear in every box.  They absolutely love them.

~Nature’s Bits Oven Baked Treats ($8.99): nature’s bits are gluten-free and contain no artificial colors or flavors.  These are soft and are just what the boys love.

~Peas in a Pod (~$10): I can’t find this online anywhere so I am guessing it’s a Barkbox exclusive?  Whatever it is, it’s adorable.  The peas come out and you can play fetch with them or whatever and then tuck them back in.

~Bully Stick (~$2): This has already been consumed and enjoyed by the boys.  There were some fights, but I think they each got to enjoy about half.

I estimated this box to have a value of about $35, which is pretty good for BarkBox!  Even without the information card I am very happy with the contents of the box.  They might not have a theme, but they are all high-quality things my dogs will enjoy!
