Litu Box is a monthly subscription box of handmade artisan goods, ecofriendly brands, and natural/ organic products.
Liti Box ships via USPS around the 15th of the month. The October box was their first ever box and I believe that the next new box will be in December. It’s a little confusing on their website, but this is being referred to as the October / November box. But they are a monthly subscription so after this month I believe we will be seeing monthly boxes from them.
Because Litu Box is so new I didn’t know what kind of box they were when I was opening it up. From the name I was thinking it was a book / reading subscription, but I was way off!
The October 2015 Litu Box contained the following items:
~Better World Brownies by Just Good Chocolate, LLC ($6.75): These brownies are delicious. We had a package we made a few weeks ago and we all enjoyed them. I would bake them for less than the instructions say next time because I want them to be a little more gooey.
~55% Organic Dark Chocolate Minis by Equal Exchange ($2): I don’t know how you could go wrong with mini chocolate bars! They are tasty and super rich so you really only need one to satisfy your cravings.
~Handmade Glass Earrings by Tili Glass ($19.95): These aren’t necessarily my style to wear, but I do think they are very pretty. I love that every pair is a little different!
~Witches Brew Soy Candle & Tea Lights by Bow & Arrow Candle Co. ($7): These candles are hand poured one at a time and made of all natural soy wax. I love the scents and think the design on the witches brew lid is adorable!
~Organic Vitamin C Lollipops by YumEarth Organics: I could barely get these pictures taken. WB was ALL over these. And he loved them. They are organic lollipops with no artificial colors or flavors.
~Handmade Worry Dolls with Gemstone by Litu Box ($5): I don’t necessarily know that I believe in worry dolls, but I like the idea of them. Maybe I should follow the instructions (you are to talk to the worry doll and then put it under your pillow) and see if I can sleep better?
~Handwoven Drawstring Pouch by Maya Traditions ($7): I love this bag! It’s colorful and fun and is a cute little size to keep your worry dolls or whatever in.
All totaled the October 2015 Litu Box had a value of about $48. I was quite impressed considering that it was their first ever box. I thought it had a nice mixture of items in it as well.

I got this box and loved it. I’m curious as if the number of items is representative of what will be included in the regular boxes starting in December.
It looks like they are still updating their FAQ so I am not too sure.
We’re glad you loved the first Litu box, HH! The October/ November box is our pre-launch box (and is available as a one-time product, no membership/subscription required) and the December box will be our first official subscription box. The amount of items will vary each month, but it will always be around 3-5 (or more) products with a promised retail value of $35+. We just received one of the items for the December box; it retails for $20, and we’re a bit worried because it takes up more than half the box space, but I’m sure we’ll be able to squeeze in 4 or more products there 🙂
