~Good morning! Monday’s after fall back always used to feel like the LONGEST days at work. It’s a good day for a mid-afternoon coffee run for sure. B’s away doing National Guard stuff for the next few days and then is doing some traveling for work. L has tomorrow off school (it’s election day and a lot of the precincts around here are in schools) and I’m going to the in-service at the school on behalf of the PTO, but other than that it’s a normal week. Well, normal for us anyway.
~The boys ended up being a bloody eyeball (LOL) and a fireman (it’s an old costume of L’s) for Trick-or-Treating on Saturday night. B and I both walked around with them and then hung out with the neighbors after. I left bowls of candy on the porch along with a bowl of non-candy treats. I should have taken a picture, but for the non-candy treats I did erasers, matchbox cars, mini coloring packs, crayons, mini Halloween barbies, pencils, slap bracelets and pretty much anything else you can find in the Target Halloween section. I have collected lots of 90% off clearance items over the year and this was an awesome way to clear some of it out. I usually use it to make goodie bags for the kid’s classmates with so I always end up with one or two extra that I don’t know what to do with. Well, this is perfect. It’s nice for kids for food allergies and for kids that just don’t want more candy!
~Subscription box wise this week I am expecting Your Bijoux Box, Mommy Mailbox, Julep, Fabletics, RLB Art Studio Box, Kloverbox and maybe a handful of others. It doesn’t seem like it’s going to be a busy week, which is okay with me!
~If you happen to be a Costco member, just a heads up that they have Hunter boots right now! They are $79.99 which is a complete steal for Hunters (they are normally $150). According to the folks at Hip2Save Nordstrom is price matching so you actually *may* not even need a membership to get this deal.
~90 Day Fiance did not disappoint last night. Mark and Nikki? Oh man. So he gets her a car (which she has no idea how to drive) so she won’t be bored. Which seems nice until he reveals that he got the same exact car for his ex-wife. WHAT? Of all the cars he had to get her the exact same one her got his first wife? I am starting to think he just wants a do over with his first wife! So weird. Also, I feel bad for Aleksandra (and for Noon, but I think she’s going to Kyle and his apartment in shape and that proposal was so cute). Josh seems sweet, but that scene where she went wedding dress shopping with his mom was so uncomfortable! This show is just incredible.
