Neiman Marcus POPSUGAR Must Have Box Review
Neiman Marcus POPSUGAR Must Have Box

Yay!  My 2015 Neiman Marcus POPSUGAR Must Have Box is here!  I was pretty much stalking my mail lady today and it’s finally here!

If you aren’t familiar with them, POPSUGAR Must Have Box is an exciting box full of fun, must-have picks across fashion, beauty, home decor, fitness, and more, which is delivered to your door on a monthly basis. Boxes include full-size products and premium items including tried-and-true classics, celebrity favorites, and brands consumers have yet to discover worth over $100! They also offer special edition boxes on a seasonal basis and once a year before the holidays, they offer a Neiman Marcus POPSUGAR Must Have Box! Just like last year’s box, this one was $250 and promised to include the ultimate luxurious collection of gifts (curated by Neiman Marcus Fashion Director Ken Downing and POPSUGAR Editor in Chief Lisa Sugar) to give and receive this season.

The Neiman Marcus POPSUGAR Must Have Box

The Neiman Marcus POPSUGAR Must Have Box is available only through POPSUGAR this year (last year it was available through Neiman Marcus as well) and shipped via FedEx Smart Post. For a $250/box you’d think they’d ship regular FedEx, but nope.

Everything in this box was beautifully packaged.  All of the items were individually wrapped in black tissue paper which made it extra fun to open.  I knew everything that was coming in the box but having it all gift wrapped makes it a bit of a surprise.

The Information Card
The Information Card

Boxes include a large fold-out information card with product information and suggestions on how to use the included items.  Unlike their monthly boxes, they do not include price information for these items, but everything included is an item or a brand that Neiman Marcus carries.  Here is what was included in the 2015 Neiman Marcus POPSUGAR Must Have Box:

~Mela Artisans Fantasy in Grey Decorative Tray ($130): I love this tray.  Like I LOVE it.  It’s 15 x 11, so it’s a great size and it’s substantial.  Meaning it’s heavy.  It’s hand-crafted out of upcycled water buffalo bone and it’s something I will have for years and years.  I am still figuring out how I want to style it, but I am thinking about keeping on my nightstand with maybe a candle, the book I’m reading, a trinket tray for my rings and that vase that was in the recent Birchbox Limited Edition box? We’ll see.

~Eddie Borgo Small Chain Tassel Pendant Necklace ($125): I have mixed feelings on this necklace.  I think it’s super pretty and fun, but I just don’t know how often I will wear it?  I am trying to think of other ways I could use this. I will let you know what I come up with.

~Vosges Haut-Chocolat Organic Peanut Butter BonBons Box ($24): I am 100% certain that these 9 bonbons won’t last the day in our house.  How could they?  They are delicious.  It’s peanut butter infused with salt on the inside, chocolate on the outside and salt on top.  Incredible.  They are also Vosges first certified organic product which is pretty neat!

~RabLabs Cele Clock ($120): So far I have seen these in black/grey, green and blue.  I was hoping for a neutral and I am SO glad I got one. Mine is a mixture of browns, blacks and maybe a hint of blue? If you don’t want to use it as a clock you can also use it as a picture frame. The little clock comes out and there is a spot for a picture! Also, I was expecting this to be bigger for some reason? I thought it would be more like an actual rock based on the pictures. But it’s flat, like a picture frame. I am a bigger fan of this in person than I was expecting to be.

~Super by RetroSuperFuture Classic Black Sunglasses ($199): I have absolutely no idea why these sunglasses are $199? I mean they are a very sturdy plastic, but still. I have never heard of the brand before, but the NM website says “The Italian line of super-cool, super-stylized, handmade sunglasses founded by Daniel Beckerman in 2007 boasts a star-studded following of musicians and rappers.”  I guess I am just not cool enough to know about them?  No matter.  They will make a good pair for B and I to share.  One of us is always without sunglasses is the more unisex pairs we have the better!

~Deborah Lippmann “Pop Life” Nail Lacquer Set (A Fine Romance, Dark Side of the Moon & Stairway to Heaven) ($54): Deborah Lipman makes amazing polishes that I love, but never want to pay full price for.  I love all of these, but I cannot wait to get “Dark Side of the Moon” on my nails.  It’s described as an “intense eggplant” and I love it for the holidays. If you want them to pop even more, add “Stairway to Heaven” to them which is an “iridescent icicle” and will look good topped on pretty much every single polish you own.

~Kevyn Aucoin The Look Book ($45): This palette includes 3 powder shadows, 2 powder cheek and 3 lip colors, along with a mirror and “beauty visual and step by step how-to guide”.  I think the colors are beautiful and practical, but I am debating about giving this as a holiday gift so I didn’t want to stick my fingers in it to swatch the colors.

All totaled I came up with a value of $697 for the 2015 Neiman Marcus POPSUGAR Must Have Box.  I wouldn’t have paid retail prices for this box as a whole, but $250 for seven items?  I’m happy.  That works out to about $36 per item which is amazing.  That tray for $36?  Yes please!

Did you get the Neiman Marcus POPSUGAR Must Have Box?  What’d you think?  Which clock color did you get?  If you are interested in ordering you are in luck because they are still available!  No coupon codes can be applied to this, but you can save $5 off the monthly POPSUGAR Must Have Box with coupon code “RAMBLINGS5“.  Don’t forget that Special Edition Holiday for Her and Holiday for Him boxes are also on sale now at POPSUGAR!  Oh and I should also mention that I am giving away a Neiman Marcus POPSUGAR box, so if you haven’t entered yet, make sure to go do it!
