~Good morning! Can you believe it’s only Thursday? It’s been a long week. I guess that’s what happens when you spend the week fighting with your 3 year-old about wearing socks ;). He does take a mean school picture though, so I can’t be too annoyed with the socks thing.
~I still have a handful of subscription boxes coming this week including my Neiman Marcus POPSUGAR Must Have Box, Loot Crate, PetGiftBox, Citrus Lane, bluum, Phone Case of the Month, Something Snacks, Prospurly, Serendipity by Little Lace Box, Bonjour Jolie, Bocandy, the GLOSSYBOX Limited Edition Holiday Box and one or two more.

~Has anyone heard of those “Bunchems” things? L told me he’s asking Santa for them so I thought maybe I should figure out what they were. I admit, they look fun, but it appears that single kid who plays with them seems to get them stuck in their hair. I may or may not want Santa to bring them just to see if it really is that easy to get them stuck in your (well my) hair. B says we should just get some burrs from the fields around here and play with those instead of getting these ;).
~So we are planning on starting our living room floor this weekend! We are pulling up the carpet, tack strips, staples, etc. starting Saturday and will *hopefully* have everything done and finished and back together by Thanksgiving. We don’t actually have the wood yet, but it’s been ordered and it only takes 5 days to ship.
~I have started my “Black Friday” tab in the menu bar above. Not much is happening there right now, but I will be updating it as soon as I hear about Black Friday sales! If you are new to subscription boxes, Black Friday / Cyber Monday is HUGE for subscription boxes – just like it is with basically all other retailers. Stay tuned!

WB looks so handsome and grown up proud mama. Jen, I gotta tell you, I am amazed at your Mom/Wifey skills you are doing an incredible job. As I read your post and reflect on raising my son I am blown away with your ability to show up and handle your son’s silliness & enjoy and love them and juggle so much with ease and just letting the sh* roll were they may and be support to your hubby, as well as run this lovely blog and be an encouragement to all us ladies and thanks for organizing the Secret Santa! You go girl, encouraging you and lifting you up on this Thursday. Once again, you’re the bomb dot com.

Aw that was very sweet of you, Nichelle! And I have to agree! I have two boys as well and I love it!! I often wonder how she finds the time to go through all those sub boxes! Lol!

My son got some bunchems for his 4th birthday (not from us). They are pretty fun, but the little puffs get lost all over the place, so be prepared.
WB is such a cutie. Too funny about socks. N has to have socks up to his knees everyday and while C has to wear socks to school (its school rule due to the mulch) he takes them off as soon as he is home. LOL
I’m sure you already know this, but if you’re getting real wood, it has to acclimate in your house for a week before installing. That keeps it from buckling. Good luck. Do show us a before and after!
