BarkBox December 2015 Subscription Box

BarkBox is a monthly subscription box for dogs. Each monthly box contains a combination of 4-6 treats, toys, and hygiene products that have been hand selected and approved by Scout (the dog), head product tester for BarkBox. All treats included in the boxes are sourced from the USA and Canada, and chews are sourced from the USA, Canada, South America, Australia and New Zealand, so you can be assured that your pet is only getting safe, high-quality items. Boxes can be customized based on the size of your pet (I get the Small box for the furries) and you can add an additional toy to your box for an extra $9/month. We have been getting BarkBox for ages and have always been satisfied with them.

The Box

BarkBox ships via DHL Global Mail (starts out with DHL and is delivered by the Post Office) and took just a few days to arrive this month. I generally expect it to arrive on or around the 20th of the month.

First Look
Second First Look

Loved this first look!  The box was larger than normal and it looked pretty full.

The Card

Once again the BarkBox information card didn’t include a breakdown of the products in the box.  It’s all on the App (which I can’t fit on my phone because I have a million pictures I need to clean off to free up space) now though.  I am not overly excited about that, but I do love the box, so I will deal.  My December 2015 BarkBox included the following items:

~Bark-Made Egg-Celent Gift Box: I didn’t get why this was “egg-celent” until I saw the eggs and the chicken on the side. LOL! The dogs don’t apprecaite it, but I thought it was funny.

The Side

~Curly Chews – 100% Lamb Ear ($1): I turned my back for two seconds and this was gone. It’s either hidden in the house somewhere or the dogs have eaten it.  Either way I’d say it was a hit.

Curly Chews – 100% Lamb Ear

~Alaska’s Puppy Love Dog Treats Wild Alaskan Salmon Jerky (~$5): These treats are 100% grain free and are made with real alaskan salmon.  They don’t smell the best, but the furries think they taste amazing.

~Le Petit Treat Bacon Gingerbread Treats ($5.70): These bacon gingerbread treats are hand-made and all-natural.  They Don’t tell my brother’s dogs, but Baxter and Biddy are going to give them these for Christmas.

~Plaid Shirt: This toy feels like it has an empty water bottle inside of it!  If it’s not an actual water bottle it’s something similar.  It seems like it’s really sturdy and will survive many tug of war battles.

~BarkBox Treat Tin: For the first time ever (at least that I can remember(, we received a treat container!  I think it’s adorable and love that it has a hole in it so you can check out treat levels.

I loved this month’s box! It was holiday’ish without being too over the top. I really enjoyed it and so did the dogs!
