OROGOLD Box is a skincare subscription service that delivers one box containing 3 travel-sized products directly to your door every 3 months. You must purchase an annual subscription to this box which works out to $48/quarter.
OROGOLD ships via USPS. Your first box will ship immediately and subsequent boxes will ship quarterly.
I first discovered OROGOLD when I received their $298 Orogold Cosmetics 24K Bionic Complex Thermal Mask in my Mother’s Day GLOSSYBOX. I was impressed immediately and when I heard they were starting a subscription box I was all over it! OROGOLD products are available through their shop online and at OROGOLD stores across the country. I would call them an exclusive, high-end brand because it’s not like you can walk into Sephora or Macy’s and pick them up.
The box didn’t contain an information card, although I wish it would have! The December 2015 OROGOLD featured the following items:
~24K Foaming Cleanser (30mL / 1fl.oz.): This foaming cleanser works to cleanse your skin of excessive oils and impurities to enhance the natural glow of your skin. It made my skin feel amazing and I am actually looking forward to washing my face with this again! I don’t know the science behind it, but yes, OROGOLD does use actual gold in their products!
~24K Deep Day Moisturizing Cream (15g / 1oz) ($58): This cream is designed to “give your skin a fresh and revitalized feeling”. It’s super rich and luxurious and a little bit goes a long way!
~OROGOLD Salt Souffle (70g / 2.5oz): This salt souffle (I just love that name) smells good and leaves you skin silly smooth. It’s not something I would use daily (I can’t find a price but I am certain it’s not something I could afford to use daily even if I wanted to), but instead I am going to use it once a week when I feel like I want to treat myself!
I couldn’t find prices for everything online, but I am 100% certain that this box is well over the $48 cost. It’s luxurious and unique and I can’t wait to see what types of products they include in future boxes.

I’ve passed this store at my mall but it looks so “fancy” inside I never went it. This would be a great way to try their products. How big are the sample sizes? Do you get a least a weeks worth of trying them?
Oh yeah, you’d get at least a week. Gosh, maybe even 3 weeks on the cleanser and moisturizer????
I hear they have super high-pressure sales tactics in the mall stores. So if you are at all interested, this seems to be the way to go.

I hate the stores/kiosks that have the high-pressured sales tatics, ESPECIALLY when it comes to skin care. This is my biggest pet peeve. I have extremely acne prone skin that breaks out with minor environmental/diet changes, let alone skincare changes. I’m not just going to slather something on my face on a whime without some sort of gradual testing process. Sorry about my rant on mall salespeople. 🙂
Random factoid: the reason why I’m even on my current skin care regime is because my faclist at the time handed me 3 weeks worth of samples and asked that I try them. I did and my skin improved. And when they ran out, I went back to my old routine, stubbornly unconvinced that it made a difference. 2 weeks later, my skin took a huge nose dive. I bought the full-size and my facialist never pressured me once. She let the products speak for themselves–I fully believe that good products will sell themselves, which is what makes this sample subscription a good idea for those who are interested in this line of products.
