Box of Style is a seasonal subscription box by Rachel Zoe. It promises to include $300 favorite fashion, beauty and lifestyle items hand-curated by Rachel and The Zoe Report Team. This box launched in Spring 2015, so the Winter 2015 box rounds out their first year of boxes.
The Winter 2015 The Box of Style shipped via FedEx Smart Post. I believe it was supposed to ship on December 1st, but mine shipped a few days after that and took about a week to arrive.
Eeek! I had heard some people received a bonus gift in their boxes and I was thrilled to open mine up and see that I had gotten one too. I thought at first it was random, but it turns out they sent them to all subscribers who have been with them since the first box in the Soring.
Everything about the Box of Style feels special. The box itself, the presentation, just everything.
The sticker on here says “Let is Zoe”! Cute!
All of the items in the box came individually wrapped in tissue paper and sealed with little stickers. Also the box had some silver crinkled paper mixed in with the black paper making it extra festive for the season.
The Winter 2015 Rachel Zoe Box of Style included the following items to help you have the hautest holiday of all:
The Hero Item: Alexis Bittar Gold Tone Swarovski Crystal Adjustable Cocktail Ring ($198): Rachel Zoe revealed the “Hero Item” in advance. The Hero Item is the most valuable item in the box so it’s great to know what it is in advance. It’s a gorgeous ring and a complete show stopper. I would’t purchase it on it’s own, but getting a $200 ring in a $100 box with a bunch of other goodies too is basically the reason I love subscription boxes. The ring is adjustable, but be warned that you’ll need to use a little force!
The Stationery: Our Heiday Notecard Set (8 cards) ($20): These are flat cards – they don’t open. The back has “our heiday” written in small print at the bottom, but the rest of the card is blank. They include gorgeous gold envelopes too. You could use them for anything from including with a gift or as a thank you card for a hostess.
The Pout: Honest Beauty Truly Kissable Lip Crayon ($18) & The Refresh: Honest Beauty Refreshingly Clean Makeup Remover Wipes ($10): The Honest Lip Crayon is highly pigmented! I was amazed by how much color I got from it with just a light swipe. And I love the makeup remover wipes. They smell good and are perfect for after those late night parties when you just cannot even wash your face. You know what I mean.
The Head Turner: Lelet NY Swarovski Crystal Hair Pin ($98): I’ll admit, I wasn’t sure what this was when I opened up the package! And honestly, I don’t know if you’d even be able to see this in my hair if I used it? I mean, you might but I would be afraid I’d lose it (this kind of stuff doesn’t stay in my hair well). I may swap this or use it as a super super fancy “paperclip” in my planner.
The Hair Repair: MarulaOil Rare Oil Intensive Mask and MarulaOil Rare Oil Treatment ($45): The mask takes just 3-10 minutes to use and you use it with a blow dryer to get even more deep conditioning. I need to color my hair ASAP so I am going to save this to use after! The box also included a bonus rare oil treatment which smells super good.
The Finished Touch: Ciate Nail Polish (Colors will vary) ($15): I received this in “She’s Eclectic” which is a duo-tone polish. It looks blue, it looks purple and sometimes it even looks red! I LOVE the shade I received and couldn’t be happier.
The Styling Tool: Foot Petals Custom Tip Toes ($8): These go in high heels (or flats) to help keep your foot from sliding forward. These could save you from a very uncomfortable night!
Bonus Gift: Boulevard Origami Pouch (~$30): Subscribers who have been with Box of Style since the inaugural box received a fun bonus gift in their box this month! It’s possible this is a Box of Style exclusive because it’s not on the website, but I estimated it at $30. I love that they are rewarding current long-term subscribers! This doesn’t happen often with subscription boxes and is much appreciated!
All totaled the Winter 2015 Rachel Zoe Box of Style has a value of $412. That is a HUGE value for a $100 box and I am impressed. I think this box (and all her boxes) really reflect her style and personality. Now I wouldn’t pay $412 for these items but for $100 for all of them I feel completely spoiled!

I get my box tomorrow. I cant wait. That ring is so beautiful and look forward to wearing during the holidays. I think i should get a make up bag too maybe, since i have subbed since the beginning, i hope. I cant wait for the berry lip color, i hope it works for me. I just got my hair done and went lighter so i need to change my make up.
