Today I’m Smiling Because…

~B made it back to town safe and sound! I don’t think he’s traveling again until after the New Year (lots of travel happening in January) which leaves us lots of chances for holiday fun!

~We got our Christmas tree. B has National Guard this weekend so it’s going to be up to the little boys and I to get the lights on and it decorated.

~Bath & Body Works is having their 3-wicks on sale today for $8.50/each. It’s in-store only and listen, it gets insane in there (be ready for a LINE), but it’s worth it! Depending on what coupons you have and how many candles you are buying, you can score candles for as little as $5.50/each!!!!

~The Santa visit was a success!  I knew L would nail it, but W did way better than expected and even talked to the big man.  Had he been alone, I don’t know how he would have gone so thank goodness for his big brother!

Santa over the years!

~Yesterday was rough, but I am feeling much better and my cough seems to be letting up a bit.

~It’s Game Day!  My Spartans are playing Iowa at 8pm tonight and I’m nervous, but so excited.  Both the football team and the basketball team are top 5 ranked which means it’s a good time to be a Spartan fan right now!

That’s it from here! What’s got you smiling today?

Jen, take care of your cough and I pray you feel better ASAP
I am smiling today because I successfuly managed through my treatment plan for an ongoing health issue with only a few hiccups. A friend and I are going to SF to view the holiday lights and decorations, check out Brit + Co Holiday shop(http://www.brit.co/about/locations/?utm_source=instagram&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=like2buy) and have lunch at The Rotunda at Neiman Marcus. They have a beutiful view of Union Square from the restaurant and a huge tree that covers all three floors and the top of the tree is seen at the restaurant.
