Today I’m Smiling Because…
~We had a great time at Storytime with Santa (and Mrs. Claus) at L’s school last night. The boys got to decorate cookies and drink hot cocoa, play games and of course, see Santa! So fun.
~I am feeling WAY better. Way better. I saw my neighbor last night and she was like, wow, you are better!!! For sure!
~The comments on the blog are fixed! I didn’t even know they were broken until late last night when someone messaged me about it on Facebook (thank you Sarah). I just thought no one was commenting all day. LOL! But it’s all set now.
~My sweet friend Stacey from the UK sent me this amazing package of Christmas chocolates and the cutest personalized ornament!!!! When I send her a package I just worry about making it all fit in the box. She wraps everything so beautifully though and makes it SO fun to open! And I know we have crispy M&M’s here, but I swear the UK ones are still better.
~We are going to IKEA today! Not too sure why, but why not? My parents are going to pick up some stuff for the cottage so we thought we’d tag along to help haul stuff home.
~I got my Reddit Secret Santa gift ordered and it should be arriving to my match before Christmas. I hope I did right by him and he enjoys it!
~It’s almost Christmas break! Plus, my cousins are coming down next weekend and we are all going to Zoo Lights! Can’t wait!

I’m smiling because after a miscommunication and my meds had to be administered 3 more days; I’m finally done and PICC line comes out on Monday, yaaa. Now I can decorate for the holidays and go shopping! I’m glad you’re feeling better, Jen. Enjoy your trip to IKEA.

I’m smiling for a lot of things today! I have the next 3 days off of work, which for retail is weird to have full weekends off. I got 3 shipping e-mails from USPS; one from my final REI item that’s taken forever to ship- it’ll be here today; two that I am 99% positive are my ROASM Secret Santa gifts, since she sent me an e-mail saying 2 gifts would be here today and 2 tomorrow and that matches those tracking links!! I’m going to go get my hair done in a little over an hour, redyed and probably cut many many inches off because I’m kind of bored with my half-way-down-my-back hair. I’m done Christmas shopping AND wrapping. And because I just cleaned out my purse and found the Fry’s coupons I’ve been searching forever for. They’re still good too, which is great because 2 of them are for free items!
