Target "Merry, MAKERS" Beauty Box Review
Target “Merry, MAKERS” Beauty Box

My Target “Merry Makers” Beauty Box has arrived! This Target Beauty Box was $5 (they vary from $5-$10) and was available through Target’s website for a limited time only. The latest Target boxes (this time there was a “His” and a “Hers” box) were released on November 29th (a Sunday) and sold out in just a few hours. I am not sure if there is any set schedule on when they release boxes, but they offered them in April, June, July, August, September, October and November of this year.  And, according to the Target website, the next one is “coming soon”.  These are NOT subscription boxes and must be purchased individually as they are released.

The Box

Target Beauty Box ships via USPS and arrived less than a week after I ordered it.  I don’t think Target has been sending shipping notifications on these – they just seem to appear.

Product Information

The Target “MERRY Makers” box included the following favs to help to keep you looking and feeling your best:

~Gillette Clinical Cool Wave Deodorant (1.6oz) ($1.60): I use B’s deodorant on occasion (well, if I happen to run out of mine) and I must say, I like this.  I felt like it lasted forever and I really liked the smell. It wasn’t too strong or irritating or anything.

~Axe Refreshing Shower Gel (Apollo) (3oz) ($0.75): B used to use Axe shower gel all the time when it first came out (or at least when I first met him), but not so much anymore.  However, this is a great size for the gym or traveling (not on an airplane though).  It’s described as an “addictive fresh combination of crisp notes of sparkling fruits, sage and smooth sandalwood”.  It’s manlier than it sounds and I like it – for B.

~up & up 5 Blade System Razor (~$5): I will be stealing this for myself ;).  I have never used a Target brand razor (we actually get Dollar Shave Club) before this, but I needed a new handle so I am all over this.  It has 5 blades and gives you a super close shave.  If you have never tried a men’s razor before, I highly recommend giving it a go. They are awesome.

~Dove Men + Care Body & Face Wash (Extra Fresh) (3oz) ($0.92): This is exactly the shower gel that B buys!  He’s been using bar soap lately, but when he wants shower gel, he buys Dove (that sounded very commercial like).  The smell is light and fresh and this will be another great travel item.

~Degree Men Adventure Dry Spray (3.8oz) ($4.99): Is anyone else sensing the trend with deodorant in this one? LOL!  It’s everywhere! I can’t recall B ever using a spray deodorant before, but if it smells good and it works, he’ll use it.

All totaled I came up with a value of $13.26 for the Target “MERRY Makers” box. I can never resist these Target Beauty Boxes and don’t think I will ever pass them up. In addition to being a great value and being packed with great products, they also contain coupons! This one had a coupon for $3 off your $15 health / beauty purchase!

As I mentioned this box is now sold out, but I will post as soon as Target releases the next Beauty Box.
