Wantable Fitness Edit is a monthly subscription box with fitness apparel. Each month your fitness editor will hand select 5 fitness pieces which you can try on at home before you buy. Item prices are based on your personal preferences but usually range from $20-$60 each. There is a $20 styling fee and you can keep the pieces you like (the $20 styling fee will be deducted from the cost of the items you keep) and return the ones you don’t. You are only charged for the items you keep and if you end up keeping everything you get a 30% discount on all the items (or a 20% discount if you keep 3-4 items)! Can anyone verify this? I can’t find anything out about it on the Wantable site and I haven’t kept that many items to even qualify for the discounts lately.
Wantable Fitness Edit ships via USPS and takes about a week to arrive.
So-so first look.
Just like with other Wantable boxes, Wantable Fitness allows you to customize what items you would like to receive. My only Dislike (meaning I will never get it) is Undergarments.
My December 2015 Wantable Fitness Edit contained the following items:
~Pink Lotus Booty Short – Shine ($54): Nope. The pattern on these are cute, but there is no way I could (would) wear these booty shorts. No one wants to see that! And really, I don’t want to see it on me either. Verdict: Returned.
~Wavelength Bra Tank Black ($68): Meh. This is just kind of a weird shirt. It’s short and boxy and shows some skin below the bra top in the back. I am not a fan of tops with built in bras as it is, but the fit on this one made it a definite no. Verdict: Returned.
~Plasma Long Legging – Trapezoid ($88): I don’t necessarily love the ruched bottom, but I do love this pattern! The colors are fabulous as well. Verdict: Kept.
~Crain and Lion Built-In Bra Tank – Nirvana ($68, on sale for $58): This is another too short top. I’m know not everyone would consider it too short, but personally perfect them to hit longer. The material is soft, but it’s super thick. Too thick actually. And, on top of that, I don’t love the color. Verdict: Returned.
~Arianna Tank Red ($50): I like the front of this tank and the color, but the back is a miss. It’s super lightweight, which is fine, but the back is almost completely open. That is just not me and, even if it was, I wouldn’t pay $50 for just a lightweight tank! Verdict: Returned.
With the exception of the leggings, this month’s Wantable Fitness was a miss for me. I think I am going to put my Fitness subscription on hold for a while and switch over to Wantable Style and see how they stack up against Stitch Fix.
