First Look

This is a fairly new box so I really didn’t know what it would include.  The first look and overall presentation was amazing though!  Somehow (I seriously have no idea what happened) I lost a few pictures of the contents.  I have some, but not others. So odd.  Anyway, I grabbed some pictures from the manufacturers websites so you could still see them. Sorry ;(.

The Information Card

The December 2015 5 Wacky Women box included the following items to help you destress through the holidays:

~The Mindfulness Coloring Book ($9.95) & Prang Colored Pencils ($3.29): Yay!  A coloring book!  I was thrilled to see this in here and cannot wait to get coloring.  I *try* to only color in one book at a time, but I’ll admit that I have two or three going right now.  They also included a 12 pack of colored pencils to use.   I like to color with gel pens more, but they sometimes leak through the pages which isn’t fun.

~Hydra Shower Burst Aromatherapy ($5): Shower bursts are similar to shower bombs. You put them on the floor of your shower and the steam from the shower helps to dissolve it allowing it to give out an amazing scent.  We received the Stress Buster Burst whites designed to, well, hello you relieve stress.  It’s made with all-natural ingredients and really is a treat in the shower.

~Juniper Tree Victorian Christmas Soap ($7.99): The information card says I received “Candied Quince”, but looking at the pictures online, I think I got “Victorian Christmas”.  And let me tell you, it is the most gorgeous soap I have ever received.  The colors are vibrant and beautiful. It also smells like a dream.  I am very impressed by this.

~My Bar! Sea Salt Splash ($3.50): Yes, chocolate certainly does help me destress!  And sea salt chocolate?  All the better.

~Envirosax Reusable Bag ($10.50): I tossed this envirosax in my purse immediately. Without fail I will end up somewhere without a bag when I need one.  Whether it’s to help hold the kids hats and gloves when we are out and about or if we need rip a shopping bag. This is cute and sturdy. It holds up to 44lbs!

~Bonus: Martinangel Cosmetic Bag by Spartina 449 ($25.35): The bag also includes a bonus little tote /cosmetic bag from Spartina 449. It looks like it has a retail of $39, but I found it listed on another site for $25.35, so that’s the price I used. I don’t know if every month will have a bonus, but I hope so!

All totaled I came up with a value of $65.58 for the December 2015  5 Wacky Women box.  I included the value of the bonus item in the box because (I believe) everyone received it. I thought they did a nice job with the theme and I look forward to seeing what they do down the road with this box!

What a fun box! From the name of the box, it’s hard to tell the category of the box. I love the fabric patterns of Spartina 449. The clutch I own from them has withstood much abuse and still looks cute! Offline, Spartina 449 products are only available in boutiques so the $39 price mark is likely accurate in that regard.

That is good to know! Thank you!

This looks like a fun box! I want to stalk it a few months and then maybe I’ll have to try it out!

So this box intrigued me and I have googled other reviews. And you got prang map pencils which in the grand scheme of things aren’t comparable to prisma color (which nobody can afford but wouldn’t it rock if someone did send them in a box) and aren’t as good as crayola but I have heard of before and are probably a mite bit cheaper than crayola. Every other review I saw got crazy art map pencils which I have never heard of but am guessing is like the dollar store equivalent because the prices listed were at $1.97. While yours is $3 something. Now… I am just curious as to why they would send out one set of the to you of prang and the other brand to every body else. On a plus side, they didn’t have to include anything and it is cool that they did!!

They may have run (ran?) out. I think I got my box after some of the other people who got it did?
