BOXYCHARM is a beauty box subscription that surprises you each month with the best beauty products from popular and chic brands. It’s $21/month and includes full size and luxury size beauty samples from their team’s preferred well-known brands.

BOXYCHARM ships via FedEx Smart Post (starts out with FedEx and is delivered by USPS) mid-month.

I (basically) knew what to expect from this box, but I was still excited to see it in my mailbox yesterday.

The January 2016 BOXYCHARM theme was “Eyes on 2016” and included the following items:

~Blinc Mascara Amplified ($26): This is a completely new brand to me and I just love the packaging.  Very unique. I was not planning on opening this up (I have so many open mascaras), but I couldn’t resist.  I found it to be very lengthening and didn’t have any issues with smudging or flaking with it.  It also wasn’t too wet and clumpy.  The card says it forms tiny water resistant “tubes” around the lash, but I really couldn’t tell that?  I could tell that I loved it though.

~Coastal Scents Revealed Smoky ($19.95): BOXYCHARM loves sending out Coastal Scents palettes and I love getting them.  I believe this is the third full-sized palette they have sent out!  It has twenty eyeshadows in a variety of shades and textures.  There is totally something in here for everyone. I am on the fence about giving this one to one of my cousins so I didn’t want to stick my fingers in them all, but seriously, they are all beautiful.

~Royal & Langnickel Brush Set [R]evolution ($23.97): As I was opening the palette, I was actually thinking it was too bad there wasn’t a brush included with it.  Well, this solves that problem!  BOXYCHARM paired up with Royal & Langnickel to include a trio of brushes in the box.  There is a detail brush, a crease brush and a smudger. All feature 100% vegan, synthetic Natrafil fibers which mimic the performance of fine, natural hair.

All totaled I came up with a value of $88.92 for the January 2016 BOXYCHARM box.  Believe it or not this wasn’t one of BOXYCHARM‘s highest value boxes. Not even close.  It was still an incredible value for the cost and the mascara alone made it worth it for me.
