Dottiebox is a monthly subscription box full of high quality handmade items for women, from both small businesses and indie brands. They offer their standard Dottiebox which is $26/month and a Dottiebox Mini subscription, which is $13/month. I did a review on the January (full-sized) Dottiebox (you can find that here) and now it’s time for the Dottiebox Mini review.
Dottiebox Mini ships via USPS First Class Mail and takes just a few days to arrive to me. The full-size Dottiebox generally ships in the first half of the month with the Dottiebox Mini shipping in the later half of the month.
Dottiebox lists the brands that they will be including in that month’s box on their website (and there are usually some overlapping brands between the full-size and the mini boxes), but you never know exactly what you will receive until you open it up.
The January 2016 Dottiebox Mini included the following items:
~Gracious Bee Greetings Calendar ($9): We received an easel calendar in the full-sized box this month and the mini includes a little “Going Places” calendar in a mini CD type case. It’s got a bunch of adorable designs and will be cute on your desk.
~Flutterfly Scrubs Lip Scrub (14.8mL) ($6): The package says this is a green apple scent, but I couldn’t smell much of anything. It’s very (very) subtle. The scrub, scent or no scent, works amazing. And tastes good ;). It’s actually just what I needed right now. For whatever reason my lips have been a little rough lately and this left them softer and smoother than ever!
~Paper Sonata Origami Love Note ($3): You can open this up and write a little note in it! I had some trouble figuring out how to open it without wrecking it, but once I did I figured out I was making it more difficult than necessary. It’s cute and not something I would ever attempt to fold on my own as I would likely end up very frustrated!
All totaled the January 2016 Dottiebox Mini had a value of $16. Not a huge value this month, but the scrub and the calendar were both very useful and the paper heart is a bonus to me.
Did you get a Dottiebox Mini this month? What’d you think? January boxes are still available, so if you are interested in ordering one, click here.
That calendar is so cute. I needed a little one to sit on my desk at work, so I immediately went and ordered it.
