For the Faithful is a monthly subscription box full of Christian products delivered right to your door. You may receive items like a cool t-shirt (and they mean cool, something you’ll want to wear), books, DVDs, items for the house or garden, something brilliantly inspirational, or things for the kids.
For the Faithful ships via FedEx Smart Post. Boxes generally ship around the 20th of the month and take about a week to arrive to me.
The January 2016 For the Faithful box included the following items:
~Gospel Goes Classical DVD ($3.99): This DVD showcases the dynamic pairing of Juanita Bynum & Jonathan Bulter. It seems like it’s a bit more than simply classic / gospel – it also includes “dynamic praise and worship music”.
~Rachel Chan “Go” CD ($2): Rachel Chan is the daughter of author and speaker Francis Chan and “Go” is her first CD. It’s described as Christian pop music and I have a friend who will absolutely love this.
~What is GOD Really Like? by Craig Groeschel ($2): This book includes a compliation of work from seventeen passionate church leaders, including Andy Stanley, Francis Chan, Jentezen Franklin, Perry Noble, Steven Furtick, and others. The author is the leader of LifeChurch.tv and is behind the popular YouVersion Bible App. I am not familiar with either of those, but I did a little browsing through the book and found it to be an easy read and quite interesting.
~”The Lord turns my darkness into light” LED Flashlight: I love this and the message on it is amazing. I am going to keep this in my purse!
~Collectible Christian Button Set: I also love these pins. I think they would be great to attach to a tote bag or what have you.
I couldn’t find prices for everything online, but from what I can tell the value is on the low side this month. I should mention that I used current (online) prices which do not include shipping costs and not retail prices. Had I used retail prices the value would have been well over the cost of the box.
